Hey guys and gals! I'm Sandy. My sisters and I are planning a girls only trip the 21st-27th. On this trip we will have my oldest sister Sheila and her youngest daughter Allie, my middle sister Norma , my daughter and myself. two more nieces may be joining but they won't know for a little while if they are getting to come or not. My DIl decided not to come because her little one will be 11 months old and she doesn't want to bring her for her first trip with her DH (my son).

We wavered between a family suite at AoA and the garden wing standard view room at contemporary. The contemporary won. Even though the extra bathroom would have been nice, we chose to go deluxe instead. Obviously if my other nieces join we will be swapping rooms but for now our room is booked.

My family and I are planning a trip for March 12-20. My husband is a college professor and our daughter is a student, so this will be their spring break.
Dh and I were at MK’s 25th anniversary, so we thought we should go back for the 50th. I wish we could go back in October like we did before, but both Dh and dd will be in school.
We usually stay at Pop Century, but this time we have chosen Art of Animation.
I am a planner and it’s killing me that I can’t do more right now. I have to be content to wait until dining reservations are available. I’m also wondering if fast passes will be returning.

My family and I are planning a trip for March 12-20. My husband is a college professor and our daughter is a student, so this will be their spring break.
Dh and I were at MK’s 25th anniversary, so we thought we should go back for the 50th. I wish we could go back in October like we did before, but both Dh and dd will be in school.
We usually stay at Pop Century, but this time we have chosen Art of Animation.

Where does your husband teach? If you don't mind me asking. My husband teaches welding at our local community college. We also own an ironwork business making metal handrails and fences. If it weren't for the insurance he would probably quit teaching and just focus on the business since it stays busy year round, but the insurance we have through his work is a great selling point on why he should stick around. Between that and my vinyl business we stay pretty darn busy.

We're going March 4-10, staying at Beach Club Villas. My daughter's one request was to swim more on this trip (last time was in November and it was pretty chilly in the evenings) so this was my top pick. MIL is definitely coming and is working on convincing FIL lol. As much as we try not to, we always seem to be park commandos and are determined to take it down a notch this time. We want to see some of FL that's not Disney so for the first time we're planning on renting a car and taking a day for somewhere else, maybe the Space Center.

My husband declares that he won't go if he has to wear a mask, so if you encounter a man bound and gagged, that'll be us. I'm desperate for this trip, we lost our first Aulani trip earlier this summer.

Otherwise, I'm enjoying planning this trip! I would normally be getting the battle plan ready to book meals at 180 days soon. I love the change to 60 days, it feels so less stressful and I'm not irritating the family asking what they want to eat in 6 months. I also booked airfare yesterday and got a great deal. Can't wait!

That’s us as well. We are going to try to take it easier on this next vacation. I want to slow down and actually look at stuff in the parks this time.

We have already started talking about this. I want to try some restaurants we haven’t been to before. Dh is insisting on Brown Derby ....again. He agreed that dd and I could pick all the other restaurants as long as he got to go to Brown Derby.

This is my first March trip as well. I've been in May, August and November. November is my favorite time but I'm looking forward to this March trip to see how the weather is. August was hot! It wasn't my choice to go then but it's what worked with hubby's schedule for that trip.

We usually go in November or December. Summer is just too hot for me. This will be my first March trip. Dh and dd finally have the same week for spring break, so we can finally go during spring instead of fall/winter.
Dd and I went last year in April for her high school band trip. It was hot and crowded, but we still had a good time.

Joining! Just got back from WDW the 13th. It was so good to be home.

We will be there March 14-21st.
I've been in March, and was suppose to be there last March.

March 18th 2021 is my 50th Bday, so it was a must to be at WDW for my 50th while Disney is celebrating their 50th the same year.
Already have flights, got those with my canceled flights from this past March.
Staying at BLT 14-17th, and BC CL 17-21, unless no CLFP, then BCV.
It will be myself, DS9, DD25, DGSs 2 & 4, and DD is having a baby girl in a few weeks, so we finally get a Disney Princess again! I have 2 DDs, 25 and 18 it's been awhile since we had princess dresses. (My last 2 kids were boys, DS9 & 16, and 2 GSs )
The rest of my crew is Disney'd out. Thank goodness I have grandkids and my DS9 still loves Disney.

Yay for the grand daughter. My first grand child was born in April...I have a princess too. Sh won't be coming on tis girls trip because DIL didn't wanna bring her for her first trip without her daddy (my son). I completely understand that so we will just have to plan another trip later so both sides of the families can be there for her reaction.

I finally got all my crew to get linked in the MDE app. It's letting us choose a magic band color but I doubt we will actually receive them since those arriving after December 31st isn't suppose to get them. But its worth a shot putting them in just in case. Either way I have mine from last year I will have as well but no one else coming with me has any active ones.

No magic bands at all? My reservation is still giving the option of choosing one. We were thinking about getting something other than the plain ones this time.

I've just read they aren't sending complimentary bands to guests anymore after December 31st stays because they are trying to get guests to use their phones for the same things the bands did. I don't want to use my phone because it will kill my battery between that and refreshing fast passes if they are back by then. Let me see if I can find the thread and link it back here.

Magic Bands

Here is one of the threads on it.
When I go to choose it does say $0.0 for the color ones and $20.00 (I think) for special ones as pre order price. Maybe if they don't mail them we will get the colors we choose at check in.
