Hey Orlando people! I'm looking for offsite favorite restaurants. We'll be mostly there to enjoy Food & Wine Festival onsite, but wanted some off site options as well to try something new. Thanks so much!!!

How far are you willing to travel? I have a bunch of favorite eats but some are a little bit beyond the tourist bubble.

I will add to the question asked by Brinkofsunshine

Do you have a car ?

Away from Disney Resorts ?

There are many many good places to eat ( And cheaper than eating
within the resorts ) BUT you have to travel over 2 miles + to find them .

Hey girl! I have seen a couple great threads in the past... here's one on upscale restaurants, if you're into that kinda thing:

I'm a Mexican food junkie so I also asked about those recommendations here:

My personal favorite offsite restaurant is the Rusty Spoon. I wrote a review here:

We also liked Teak for burgers and beer, but I wouldn't go out of my way to drive there from Disney unless I had a very long trip and/or was getting bored.

Oh I totally forgot to recommend Hash House a Go Go! It's soooo good (there are several reviews in my various trip/dining reports). HUGE portions, great food, very fair prices and you can often find groupons as well. Plus it is near the I-drive outlets if you want to make the trip there. It's not fancy food by any stretch but well worth a visit!
