Question about DAY crowds on party nights versus non party nights.

First timers to US and IOA this October.

We will not be attending HHN.

We will be visiting 1 park each day (US then IOA).

We do not care about staying until close but if we do thats ok too.

Question: are crowds lighter on days they close early for parties? Lighter on non party days? Or is there no difference?

We are Disney folks and are use to lower crowds on days they close early for parties so trying to know what to plan for.

On Saturday and Sunday, more will be in the parks on the dates hhn is happening.

You will see more crowds start to arrive about 2:00, 3:00.

Many times peeps come a few hours before the Studios closes at 5:00, so they can do rides before the park closes for hhn.

For the Wednesdays and Thursdays, I have not noticed any additional crowds.
It's a work day for most people

IOA will be open later than the studios.

I think one of the main differences is that WDW parties are on weekdays more often than weekends, particularly Saturdays. Saturdays are busier at parks. HHN tends to be on weekend nights more. Plus, Universal kind of closes a little early compared to WDW parks. With IOA so close, it's pretty easy for people to go to either park.
