Question on decorating balconies at OKW for Christmas

I remember reading that folks decorate their balconies at OKW at Christmastime. What sort of decorations are used? Just lights or other things too? Are there electrical outlets on the balconies? Just trying to plan ahead. Thanks!

We've had an electrical outlet on our OKW balcony everytime we went. We wrapped our lights around the railing. They are metal, so you can't use thumbtacks. You can use tape, but you have to clean it off when you take down your lights. Make sure your lights are in good condition, no shorts, so you don't electrify the entire railing. You'll probably need an outside extension cord. Make sure it's good for outside and not just one of those cheapy interior cords.
