You know the Gasparilla Grill at the Grand Floridian and the Roaring Fork at the Wilderness Lodge and of course the food courts at the Moderates, is there anything like that at the Yacht Club or Beach Club or Boardwalk Inn? A place where you can buy snacks, meals, fill-up your own refillable mug, etc.? We always enjoy sending me (Mom) off early every morning to refill all the mugs and to buy us bisquits, pancakes, etc, and bring them back to the room to eat. Then of course, a late night snack while you are getting to bed along with another refill on your mug. We are debating staying over there in December rather than the GF since it will be a very short trip and the only parks we'll be visiting is the Studios and Epcot. But not if they don't have something like Gasparilla's.

Well, I didn't do refillable mugs so can't help with that but we did stay BWI for one week with our two kids ages 6 and 9. Every morning (except the one we ate at Cape May) DH would go down to the BW bakery and bring things back or we would stop there on our way out to eat. We got bagels, fruit, yogarts, donuts, muffins etc... You can get a few hot breakfast sandwich things too. There was also a general store where you could buy snacks, drinks and breakfast goodies. Then in the evening we would get a sweet treat from either the bakery or the ice cream shop on the BW. For late munchies you can get pizza and calzones from the take out window of Spoodles and hot dogs from the vendor. Also read that people order take out from ESPN Club.

So there are lots of choices there on the BW but it is not quite the same as Cap'n Cooks over at the Poly where we had stayed before. The food set up at BWI bothers some people but not us, we loved the many choices!:D

There is not a "food court" at either the BW or the YC/BC but both of them have snack options:

1) BW - We would refill our mugs at the Bakery on the boardwalk or at the lounge area in the morning (coffee - don't remember the name). You can get snacks at night from the vendors on the boardwalk (hot dogs, fries, pizza, etc) or carry out stuff from ESPN.

2) YC/BC - You can refill your mug at Beaches & Cream or in the lobby in the morning. Beaches & Cream offers hamburgers, hotdogs, ice cream that you can take out.

Both resorts have little stores that you can buy snacks for the room.
