The Downside of the GCV?..

I'm making the assumption that once the GCVs open, we will no longer be able to use points from the Disney Collection to stay at the GC.
Although it was never the best use of points, it was a nice option to have.
Now with only 50 villas, unless you have home resort advantage, you may lose the option of using points there.

You know, I never did understand why DVC doesn't let Members use points at the host resort...

Do you really think they'll block usage with such a limited number of units? I would of thought if the villas are booked, then we might still be able to book the regular rooms just at a higher point value.
