Friday 18th
So, after a fantastic night sleep we got up, got dressed in many layers as temperatures were around -1(!!!) and headed for breakfast in the Santa Fe. Breakfast was decent, with lots of coffee and croisants needed! It wasn't too busy either.
After spending yesterday in the main park, we decided to head for the Studios today as we wanted to get most of the stuff done before the manic rush of the weekend!
Again, there was more snow!!!
We headed for Crush Coaster first, which was surprisingly intense, but alot of fun - loved the Seagulls during the queue! Unfortuanly, Tower of Terror had an absolutely mammoth queue, and the fast-pass machines wern't operating for some reason, so we opted to miss that out. Rock n' Roll Rollercoast was also broken down! so we decided to go for Armageddon which was fantastic as always!
There were characters all around the Studio which was great, and we got some fantastic photos
After a while in the Studio, we decided to head back into the main park so we could finish off the rides we wanted to do before the weekend. There were loads of characters around main street, but I don't want to flood the thread with photos!!!
Unfortuanly, Indiana Jones was closed throughout our whole stay due to the weather so we didn't get to go on that.
We went for Lunch in Café Hyperion, which was very good. Nice burgers and it was great to watch some old Mickey cartoons on the big screens whilst eating lunch!!!. You also got a ticket for a free hot-chocolate for every meal you bought, which was much needed in the ridiculously cold weather!!!
After going on a few rides, like Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain which were fantastic again, we went into the Alice in Wonderland maze, and got a great photo at the top of the tower!
Following this, we decided to head back to the Studio again, to see if Aerosmith was working. Much to our incredible luck, it seems they had JUST reopened it as we got there, we were literally the 2nd load of people on! We managed to get 2/3 rides with absolutely no queue which was a great end to the day.
We then headed back to the hotel to have a shower and get dressed for our meal in Café Mickey in the evening. All I can say is that it was absolutely magical, and a must visit for anyone going for dinner in DLP. The character interaction was amazing, and the food was brilliant!
Though some of the younger children seemed to be scared by Captain Hook's antics!
After a fantastic second day, we went back to the hotel and got some much needed sleep!
