This coincides with my thread 'do I have the right rig to get this job DONE'.

At the recent Hershey show, I got the chance to speak to Factory Reps about tires, on TT, 5rs, etc.

There were 2 Reps who appeared fairly sharpe.

A case in point---My 5r came with Ds. If they put on Cs, they would not guarantee 500 miles of towing 8000 lbs. Conversely, going from D's to E's the up line is 18 degrees.

This line is pretty std (the are variances by tire type/mfg) going from C, to D, to E, but the trend is roughly 18 degrees up, or a big load pick-up.
