Laurel-
Thank you for sharing about your dd. I have a close friend who has a non-verbal autistic dd,about the same age as your dd.
It is very, very, difficult for my friend and her dh ie. emotionally, physically, financially, to take care of her dd. They are having a real tough time.
My friend keeps asking me out of anxiety " when is Miranda going to talk?"
"when is Miranda going to stop climbing and start focusing?"
Unfortunately, I don't have answers for her. I do pray for her, her dd, and family.
My own ds is autistic, more of Aspergers. He is very verbal and very bright.
He does very well at school. His eye contact is not that good, either, but getting better.
I will keep you in my prayers.
