(Transportation to and from Aulani) Airport and Ko Olina Marina?

This forum has been invaluable! Two quick questions for our upcoming trip.
1) Do they have taxis available at the front for a quick drop off to the Marina? We have an 8am sunrise snorkel and I’m not sure if the boys are up for a long walk that morning.
2) What are the airport transportation options from Aulani to the airport? Can you schedule something at the hotel?

1. It's not very far at all (we walked it from the Marriott or whatever it is further from the marina), but i'm sure you can pay someone to do it.

2. is for someone else that has used it.

Honolulu Airport Transfer ($80 one way, up to 4 passengers, cash preferred, 5% surcharge for credit cards) BUT it's a private taxi service:

So, depending on how many you have, the Honolulu Airport Transfer may be the most cost effective.

I’m in a couple of Aulani travel groups on Facebook. There is a lady in one of the groups that is local and offers airport transfers to Aulani for $50. She will also include leis for $10 a piece. Wondering if anyone here is in one of those FB groups and has used a local group member for transportation.

It will probably take you longer waiting on a cab to get to the marina than if you just walk it. Kids are much more resilient than we give them credit for. They are made to keep moving.

She is looking for a car service who could take them from the airport to Aulani, then the return trip would be from the Four Seasons back to the airport. They want a private car, not group shuttle and prefer not to do Uber or Lyft if possible. Thanks!

Have them rent a car. Aulani is not close to anything and if they want to do any excursions or see the Island at all, a car is by far the best way to get around. A lot of people say that Charlie's taxi is a good service and you can book them ahead of time.

I agree with this. If they want to see the island they really need to rent a car. Personally, I couldn't imagine flying all the way to Hawaii and just staying at the resort. Any resort.

Charlies Taxies has always worked well for me. The allowed pick up points for some places (like the Oahu port) can be a little bit off the main area, but for the price and the peace of mind of pre-booking I don't mind an out of the way pick up point. I recommend calling vs booking online because the online booking doesn't always make it clear about pick up points for anywhere but the airport.

FYI they are allowed to pick you up at Aulani hotel door so thats an easy one.
