Wait Time Tracking Chart: Disney World's New Normal

Not everyone has the time or MDE app in order to keep an eye on wait times throughout the day. I wanted to make it easy for everyone to have a quick reference chart to see what wait times were for the parks throughout that day. I will do this for a bit as parks start to open, I am not calculating averages but if someone wants to feel free to. Just wanted to help everyone gather information as we try to learn the new normal at Disney World. I will repost the chart regularly throughout the day as I fill in the chart.

Just trying to help and make it simple, glad you find it helpful. I do not like the edit because the website is designed to open the newest thread. Just like the enormous thread regarding Rise of the Resistance and "The Chart" that was updated nightly was not just edited it was put in a new post.

I've been at MK for the past 2 days and will say that in the late afternoon, wait times have been even shorter than what is posted above- almost nonexistent. You just slowly but surely walk through the standby lines onto headliner rides, including Peter Pan, the mountain coasters, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. No real stopping & waiting. For rides like Dumbo, we got some exercise trotting through the long, empty queue. For Astro Orbiter, our only wait was for the elevator each way.

Thanks for sharing. I get what you mean, I am simply recording what Disney is listing. I have only every seen Big Thunder Mountain listed at 5 minutes once in my life it was at an After Hours Event, and it was not even that long just the time it took to weave through the lanes up the the train-cars.

Yes, that is what we're experiencing. It's surreal because you can get that during the day now. Even at the "busy" midmorning times with real lines, the lines still move efficiently with no stopping for FP. We now hate FP & never want it to return. It is so much more bearable being in lines that actually move. And not having to schedule our day around FPs is a dream. We wouldn't mind WDW having a reservation system forever if the experience was always like this.

As long as they don't increase the amount of daily reservations, would it be correct to say that any day that isn't "sold out" would possibly have even shorter wait times?

Amazing wait times...as I said earlier in the week, the number of warm bodies in the park is the largest factor in wait times.

But how to explain those minimal wait times for FOP?

FOP, and KS have 35 minute waits right now, so maybe yesterday’s super low 5 minutes was just a factor of everyone wanting MK first day back and lack of available AK park passes?

I think what people may be asking for is not editing the same post over and over, but rather have one post per day. So for example, instead of having 3 posts for the 7/12 wait times, just one post is edited throughout the day so there's one set of charts showing all the times for that day. I would find that easier to read, especially when scrolling through to see previous days.

And thank you for getting the ball rolling on the tracking! I think this will be a big help for everyone to figure out what the "new normal" is for now.
