Wait, what just happened? (RIV post)

Ok, we just bought RIV on Jan 22, 200 points at $188. We wound up paying 175.25 after developer credit & military discount. Now the price is 195$ per point, act now and you get $4000 developer credit and $550 military discount, meaning the effective price is NOW $172.25 per point.
There’s nothing to be done about it is there?

(EDIT: price is 195, not 193. Still would save buying today rather than 11days ago.)

define military: a) active b) DoD employee c) retired d) honorable discharge with DD214 (which DCL sadly doesn’t include in their discounts vs other mainstream lines)

Active duty or medically retired or retired but must have the military id. To be applicable for the military discount dvc requires a copy of your military is card if purchased over phone or see the card physically in person purchase.

Has this always been a discount? It was never brought up to us.

Well I always asked. They don’t announced it. When we purchased ccv and riviera we got military discount on top of the incentives. They require military Id verification. We purchased over the phone for ccv and in person for riviera.
Edit: forgot to add the discounts are only avail for properties that they are currently actively selling. Sold out resorts no military discount. Ccv currently although they have incentives they went away with the military discount so as of now it’s only riviera and aulani.
