Saturday, December 2- sunny- high of 76.
After not getting to sleep until well after 2am, morning came way too quick.
I woke up very sick.. I was not feeling good yesterday and I thought it might just be nerves. It ended up being a virus, and I was sick as a dog all day. I tried to get up and planned on going to Downtown Disney for shopping, lunch at the Rainforest cafe, dinner at Cape May cafe, an illuminations cruise, and possibly meet up with some DIS friends after that. Hah!
We slept until 10am, stayed at the house until 2pm, went to DTD for about an hour, and cancelled everything else. Abby was disappointed about not going to a park that day and let us know about it in her own special way; Whining, whining, whining! We threatened to put her on the next plane home but she wasn't buying it. Bob was being quite a trooper but I could tell he was thinking that this was going to be a bust of a vacation. I prayed that I would feel better soon.
They had pizza for dinner and I was asleep by 8pm.
Helm and family went to SeaWorld and said it was fantastic! No crowds, walk on to everything and the weather was pefect, 76 degrees and sunny. Lucky them!
Best thing about the day for me was lying in a chaise by the pool and taking a nap in the sun. It was glorious considering it was 15 degrees back home.....
