Well that will help keep you home.

Our governor just came on TV and told us to stay home for the next 2 weeks. All non essential services will have to close within 48 hours. Do you think I can hold out hope that my new vet will still come up this Friday and trim my pig's hoofs? I really hope so but I wouldn't bet on it.
We're having more and more cities issuing "shelter in place" orders too. Waco did today; Bryan/College Station's order goes into effect tomorrow. My cousin's son and his family came from College Station to Brenham today to pick up some extra supplies she had on hand for the next 2 weeks. They're expecting their 3rd daughter in about 6 weeks so they're adamant about sheltering in place. That same cousins' husband is a vet and he's carrying on as usual for now but they're not under shelter in place orders yet either. She said he was going to adjust his practice as required so he could be shutting down too. I would hope your new vet puts off elective services until the 2 weeks ends; for your safety as well as his. :tink:

Mass just ordered a "stay at home" too. I kind of wish NH would do that too, the number of cases are already over 100 and one person died.

😳 That's what Sara keeps saying; just shut down, shelter in place and get it over with. Texas has 719 cases in 46 out of the 254 counties so I'm not expecting a state wide shut down. Larger cities have issued shelter in place and now our mid-size cities are doing the same thing. Got word this afternoon that Bryan/College Station begins shelter in place tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if NH does the same thing though especially if your cases increase over the next few days. :tink:

We've just been notified we have the first case in Austin County in neighboring Sealy. We're "officially on the board"! Redstorm couldn't take it any longer 😵; she and her best friend met today at a local part to run ...apart but together. 😏 Their practicing the "6' rule" while getting some much needed "social interaction". 🙃:tink:
