Widow planned to bury husband's ashes at Caribbean Beach

She planned to bury some of the ashes with their rings at a special place at Caribbean Beach resort. However... Virgin Atlantic lost her suitcase. She apparently didnt inform them and checked in her suitcase, because she believed it was illegal to bring remains.

It is not illegal, you do have to inform the airline and it is advised to take it in hand luggage in a non metallic box due to the scans you have to go through.

She says she is too old to make the trip again, but I wonder what she will do and if Disney will stop her if she gets back, as spreading ashes at Disney is illegal.

She did make the most of her trip, her suitcase was retrieved and sent to her home.

YES, she will be stopped. She will get in trouble.

Now I am sure may have spread ashes by not telling anyone.

Yes, but would they flag her name in the system? That as soon as she makes a booking she gets a remark for check in? Imagine the conversation when she arrives at the resort:
"Ma'am, are you planning to bury your husband's ashes this time?"

According to Google it happens more and more. If they notice it, you get in trouble, and they vaccuum the remains. Except when they saw a woman dumping the ashes in the water at Pirates.
Flower beds at Haunted Mansion and Main Street are popular too, apparently.

I think she’d likely be trespassed from the property. It’s more than a flag in the system, it’s a warning that if she returns she can be arrested.
