If word has not leaked out yet, then I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
As of August 7th, 2003 Universal Studios decided to cut most of it's entertainment. It came as quite a shock to the performers who, as of September 5th, will be out of a job.
The list consists of:
Islands of Adventure characters:
Boris and Natasha
Doctor Doom
Green Goblin
...and the Sindbad show will now only be seasonal. ( If they decide to bring it back at all)
Universal Studios:
Men in Black
Doc Brown
Barney Rubble and Betty Rubble
...and the wild west stunt show is closing for good.
If ANY of these characters mean anything to you, if you have had a great time watching them and interacting with them, then please say something. Only you can make a difference to help these performers regain their jobs, or at least let Universal know that they are making a mistake.
