It's great to see photos of the Jambo House studio and 1BR. I love the kitchen! It's even nicer than I imagined from looking at the floor plans. Overall it looks like they used the same furnishings as the Kidani Village model rooms.

A couple of things puzzle me, though:

- It looks like only the left side of the armoire in the studio can be used for clothes. The right side has no closet pole and no shelves. Are they going to put the vacuum cleaner in the right side? Half an armoire is not enough space for clothes. When I saw the large armoire in the model room I thought it was great. I never imagined only half of it would be usable.

- I don't like the placement of the desk in the master bedroom. They put the desk next to the bed and the nightstand and chair against the wall on the other side of the room. It looks very odd. I prefer the way the model room was set up: nightstands on either side of the bed with the chair next to the nightstand and the desk and its chair on the opposite wall.

Other than that, everything looks even nicer than I imagined. I love the rooms!

Well, I wasn't the first to check in that day - but my family was the 3rd to check in! We also received that awesome basket! We were told that only the first 3 families to check in would receive the basket. We were also in a studio - 5408. The room was a standard view, still so beautiful - it overlooked the pool area. If you looked past the pool you could kind of see the savannah. (really had to look far, but still awesome!)

After we were settled into our room, we received a knock on the door and then were given an autographed personalized photo of mickey, minnie and goofy welcoming us to the villas! It was not pre-printed and was all hand written, including a cute elephant drawn by mickey!

There is a lot of construction going on, and at times it was a little noisy, but I think it was because our room was at the end of the hallway, and the construction was actually going on in the area next to us. We had walk around "workers" quite a few times to get to our room.

Otherwise, congratulations to all who purchased here! I hope I will be able to get a reservation there again in the future, but I told my husband, that I think this resort could be the new "beach club" . It is truly spectacular and first class all the way!

We are home now, but it was a great way to end our vacation, even for only one night. And, as a side note, we also stayed at Saratoga Springs in the new Grandstand area. This too was really nice, and our new favorite area of Saratoga.

Must get my laundry done, as I am back to work tomorrow!

I wanted to join the thread, just hear all the reviews, too!! We are considering buying into AKV, but I wanted "on hands" opinions before making a final decision....(shhhh.....it is a secret - Trying to make it my hubby's 10 year wedding anniversary present!!)

I am so EXCITED!!!
