BTW, I have a minnie dot outfit that Lily wore once. I would like to pass it on if someone on here would like it. It is not professionally done, the seams aren't surged, but it is otherwise well constructed and cute as a button. The pants are now capri's and the top is too tight so I guess it has to go, I thought about holding on to it for another baby, but who knows when that'll be and if I havea girl and I'll probably want to make them matching outfits then anyway!!! PM me if you're interested, I'll post a pic later.

I am almost done with a hand gathered pettiskirt!:cheer2:

All I need is a waistband (My model went to bed) LOL

Oh, dear Cindee friend....You clearly love your childrens more than I do my own. If I can't get my new machine to use a ruffler (haven't tried yet) Little may have to go ruffleless for the rest of her childhood. Let alone gathering a petti...you are a brave brave woman:grouphug:

...t.

I made these last weekend. . .

T- You cracked me up! I am afraid to try a ruffler LOL. Little won't have to be ruffleless, we well just have to put her in line for the ruffles Morgan out grows LOL.

Hee! Can you tell that dog is always underfoot, I don't even notice him anymore. Hey, my marker-toed daughter wants to know if your marker-tasting stepson is looking for a girlfriend. The last boyfriend she had tried to give her pinkeye!

My husband just said a VERY unDisney word b/c he just tripped over MY darling doxie...which was followed by "DOG, get out from under my FEET!" :lmao: Poor puppy...he's just trying to HELP!

Last time I asked, my step son was intent on marrying ME...but I think he may be ready for a new girl here pretty quick! Your little one is too cute for words and I think she's got just enough sass to put my step son in his place when he needs it! And hey...they can taste markers together and draw on each other! Match made in Heaven!!!

Good to know that Sally Rally is consistent when applying rules! :thumbsup2

Yes, I've been reading your Trip Report! *LOL*

Sally is nothing if not consistent! She watched a very odd movie this weekend called The Last Mimzy...she was pretty horrified when Raine Wilson (of The Office fame) waltzed through a scene in his Pj top and underpants! Not even boxers...tightie white-ys!:rotfl2: I believe her quote was,

"Doesn't he know the rule about being dressed in the kitchen?!" (that would a rule I grew up with...no shirts off in the kitchen...Sally is now including pants...they must be ON to be in the kitchen!) I find it HILARIOUS that she believes that MY rules extend to the rest of the world.

I don't think that's going to last too much longer!

She's a good girl!!!:goodvibes

I am so relieved that y'all stepped in and made that appointment for your sister in law. You aren't interfering, you are advocating for someone who can't do it for herself and you are arming your sister in law with the best medical care she can receive in this situation. It's SUCH good news about her left breast being clear.

I've been praying for y'all. I'll keep on it!!! :goodvibes
Thank you so much!!!
:rotfl: :lmao:

I had a mean baby sitter who put me off of clowns and sock monkeys too...she told me their mouths were red b/c they ate children. :scared1:

To THIS DAY, clowns freak me out. I can't look at them.

good thing I have a good therapist...

;)

We are scared of clowns too! I saw one the other day (I can't think of where I was though...) and it was a really really creepy one!!

What a horrible baby sitter you had!!

Now Teresa, that's just MEAN!!! :scared1:
Is it just my imagination, or is that also made out of that plastic weave stuff?!

Why yes, yes it is!!

I did manage to make something new for our trip:

Megan loves the purse and has already filled it with Disney toys!

Is it just me...

or does anyone else feel the need to close their eyes when they get down to the bottom of the page? I feel like I'm looking at some kind of men's magazines with some of the Google ads at the bottom of the page! :rotfl2:
I love these outfits!!! Megan looks so cute!!! That purse is adorable too! I might have to make the girls some of those!
Can I tell you it took me several minutes of looking at it to figure out that I made it? After the first post to Aunt Heather (which didn't tip me off) I thought why does that sig look so familiar? Do I know her? I had to click on properties and check out where the picture came from before I figured it out. How embarrassing! :rotfl:

Hi Arminda, I'm glad you like your sig! I hope Aunt Heather makes you a peter pan top, it is the cutest thing!

Very cute! I bought some of that monkey fabric yesterday. What pattern did you use for that purse? I need a simple purse pattern!

Hi Arminda, I love your princess signature! :thumbsup2 princess:

UH OH, Lily just saw your new Sig. Arminda and wants me to go back so she can see the princess!!! Love it, btw!!

...t.
I am a really mean Mommy, and wouldn't log out of my account to let Arminda answer you guys herself, but this is what she said, "WOO WOO WOO!!!" as she pumped her fist into the air "People are talking to me!!! People are talking to me!!!" Then, there was a lot of jumping and more WooHOoing! :rotfl: And, she liked Stephanie's idea about Aunt Heather making her a top! ;)
Hee! Can you tell that dog is always underfoot, I don't even notice him anymore. Hey, my marker-toed daughter wants to know if your marker-tasting stepson is looking for a girlfriend. The last boyfriend she had tried to give her pinkeye!
:rotfl2:
How does her eye look? Any pink yet?

I was surprised that my nephew was willing to wear one. :lovestruc
I think that is very neat!!! Corey did say that he would like to go to dinner as the guy in Cinderella with the monocle.

Do you have a picture of the final product? I wanted to get an idea of what it would look like.
Here is my cute little nephew:

I will be keeping your family, especially your SIL in my prayers! I think it is great that you made her an appointment with an oncologist. You and Teresa are a great SILs!
Thank you and everyone else that are praying for Barbara!!! And, the kind words!
I am almost done with a hand gathered pettiskirt!:cheer2:

Oh my goodness!! I can't wait to see it!

Aww, T.! You are so sweet! I remember that outfit, it was really cute!

You guys really know how to make a person feel good!! I'm so flattered by the compliments on the Peter Pan shirt!! I'll post the pictures I used for the applique. If anyone wants to CASE the shirt, first resize them and print them out. Then, outline the lines that you want of the people flying (I always trace it with a sharpie) and then put the heat 'n bond lite on top of the traced pictures and trace it onto the heat 'n bond.

Stephers- if thats what "messed up" looks like I cant wait to see the next one!

To everyone who has written kind comments about my butterfly dress- thank you. I can only hope that she gets at least an inch taller by May 29th- it was supposed to fall right at or just a hint below her knees.....
The chest part fits well at least.
I am soo tired, I dont know whats up but DD22months keeps waking up at 6am, at which point I try to coax her to go back to sleep- sometimes breaking out the "bottles" with milk- just to have 15 more min of sleep. Unfortunately DH is a late nighter, so I end up staying up with him til 12:45. Tonight I MUST go to bed earlier. And then Ill be fresh tomorrow afternoon to pick which Disney fabric Im going to use and which pattern...

I also just ordered this...(not the white pettiblouse)
c5_1_b.JPG

and a similar pattern with different shoulders in a Pooh border fabric thats been discontinued.
and this

Those are really pretty! Arminda would love the horse dress! I tell her she can have a horse..... as soon as she gets her own house!

I made these last weekend. . .

DSC06414.jpg

GREAT job!!!! These are so cute!!!

There is not a single day that goes by that dd2 doesn't ask everyone in the house "are you going to ride the peter pan ride with me" Most often those are the first words out of her mouth when her feet hit the floor. I MUST make her one like this!!!! I just hope I can find that fabric or something similiar.

Goodness, how did you get your 2 year old to not talk until her feet him the floor?! Give me your secret because Delaney is yacking before she finishes opening her eyes and it doesn't stop all day! I want to know the secret. :lmao:

Can you tell it's been on of those days around here?! Everything is either me being told what to do and when (which doesn't fly) or when things don't exactly go our way (because mom's crystal ball is broken and I'm not mind reader) it's one gigantic meltdown after another. I wish I could beam myself somewhere quiet. :teleport:

I must have lost what was left of my mind tonight. I've been calling all the Disney Stores in the DC metro area in search of Giselle's wedding dress. I finally found one, of course it's in Maryland, so my dad is going to have lunch with Delaney so I can go get it and it will still be a surprise.

Elisa, Please stay safe. Hopefully you can keep up with someone via PM so we know you're okay. I'll be thinking of you.

Heather, I LOVE the Peter Pan dress. It's beautiful! I'll be keeping Barbara and you're family in my prayers. I'm bet she's probably grateful to have you helping advocate her issues right now. I'd bet her head is swimming with information and I'm sure it's hard to even focus on it.

I went to Joann's today and there was NOTHING in the licensed fabrics. The Joann's in my town stinks. I probably should knock out some more of the vacation wardrobe before I even think about starting anything else.

I still have a couple of pages to catch up on, I'm taking the small person to bed, and I'll be plugged in in the bedroom researching for her birthday party.

Has anyone seen the Minnie Dot fabric lately? My mom is going to check out Hancock fabrics in Indy when she goes in a few weeks but I want to be sure we get it. If not, is anyone willing to check their stores for me?

oh good luck :wizard: is the only place to get it now. hancocks discontinued it!

Okay, she just got up from her nap so I put it on her...darn it, but its too long! I should have put it on her before I sewed those ruffles on.! Gotta say- I dont like it. :(

Now that this is done I can get started on my first Disney outfit!!
I think a ruffled top and shorts.....
I love this dress. I think the length is ok. She will always have room to grow.

Is it just me...

or does anyone else feel the need to close their eyes when they get down to the bottom of the page? I feel like I'm looking at some kind of men's magazines with some of the google ads at the bottom of the page! :rotfl2:
The ads sometimes seem to match the thread and sometimes they are just so random. I try not to scroll all the way down.

I went out of town for a couple of hours and come back to four pages to catch up on. I don't want to see how many pages I will have to catch up on when I leave for WDW.

Elisa: I miss you already!
Here is Megan's new dress:

Just love love love love love these outfits! Purses and all! Let me say I love that monkey fabric too~!!!!!

Hey everyone, the outfits look great.

Now, The other bigr eason I popped in here is to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Elisa and Lori. I was the luckyy recipient of the Aurora dress and Lori's queen of hearts dress. Brianna LOVES them, to the point that she ALREADY put them in her suitcase. I'm a little sad that she has been asking for outfits made by other people (I wear things you make all the time mommy, buying ones are special!), but I couldn't ask for nicer ones. thank you so so much.

I'll try to take pics and post later. I know I haven't been around much, but I am doing so much, I am barely keepign up on my owm PTR!! Enjoy all, and keep the lovely outfits coming!!
you are sooo welcome and I am happy she loves the Q of hearts dress. Can you believe I still ahve another one in the closet!! Oh that dress is great and addicting!! Can't wait to see pics!
Lori

T- You cracked me up! I am afraid to try a ruffler LOL. Little won't have to be ruffleless, we well just have to put her in line for the ruffles Morgan out grows LOL.

I've had a ruffler for years, but never really knew how to get the most out of it. I did find directions on YCMT, but I've yet to sit down and read it. But I did find an easy way to gather. I make pleats with the ruffler first, then I run the double gathering stitch. So I only have half the fabric to gather, and it's a little more even. I'm almost finished a dress I'm working on, that I did this to, and I can show you.

oh I love all 3 very cute!!!

I am almost done with a hand gathered pettiskirt!:cheer2:

wow!!!!:worship: I would never attemp those pettiskirts. good for you!

Thanks to everyone who replied and has encouraged me to go for it. ;)

Jham...you had asked how old my girls are..... When we go to Disney World in Sept, they will be 9, 7, 6, 4 and 2.

I will definately be looking over the links this weekend that you listed on the first page. Thanks so much.

Also, someone said to start with something easy that doesn't have zippers or buttons. Would those jeans with the fabric ruffles at the bottom be easy or hard to start with? I probably will do that and a basic skirt. lol

So, I am so officially a disboutique NUTCASE!!!! I have been thinking non stop about what outfits to make for Little for Oct.....IT'S MARCH!!!!!!!
OY!
I'll try to have a list w/ pics and fabrics up soon.

...t.

That's ok, we're not going until December and I have a list for each dd and dgd and broken down into how many outfits I need to make per week to get them all done! Plus I've started making jewelry to match!

I am almost done with a hand gathered pettiskirt!:cheer2:

All I need is a waistband (My model went to bed) LOL

:worship: :worship: :worship: I'm dying to make one too, but I'm more scared of this than I ever was of appliques and shirring!!!

oh good luck :wizard: is the only place to get it now. hancocks discontinued it!

Lori should know!!!! Have you found what you needed yet?

The chest part fits well at least.
