sis i loooooove the make-up...but i love your hair even more!! i would kill for that color but whenever i tried to dye it red it never really shows!! how did they do it?? and did they dye your eyebrows too? thats another problem i have, b/c my eyebrows are black and that would look funny lol

THAAANKS I actually bought a box dye and had my mom do it ! I did bleach my hair before when I had those chunks a while back, so my hair was a bit light to begin with. Whenever you dye your hair black you make it 2x harder for other colors to stick to it; thats probably why you can't get red to hold to your hair. I didn't dye my eyebrows, I actually just mix a bit of red eyeshadow with my regular eyebrow powder to make it fit with my hair color !!

I have never commented before, both of you do a great job!!! I am thinking about taking some of your looks for the MToT party!!!

I need more info on the Maleficent, what kind of makeup do you suggest I use for my kids? DD8 was Maleficent last year but her make up was no where near this level!! Did you try the soap idea for your eyebrows? Did it work? Sorry, I am at work so didn't read all these but man, these looks are so good!!

I had to go out and buy the Urban Decay eyelid primer after reading on your blog that you use it. I love it! My eyelids never get oily or creases now. I wish I could use it on my whole face (I have extremely oily skin).

I'm so glad you love the UDPP !! We use it ALL the time. You really can see the difference with it on. The eye shadow colors just come out so much brighter! You know, for oily skin you may want to ask my cousin what she uses for that, because I know she does use face primer that might help !

I am currently using Smashbox Anti-shine and it works for a couple hours. I seriously want to put UDPP all over my face! I need help from the make up pros!

Hi JosieGirl ! I've used several face primers including, Sephora & Smashbox (Regular & Color Correction ). I currently am not using a primer (I should though !).. I'm using MAC Oil Control Lotion instead because it controls my oiliness on my forehead and leaves a smooth finish on my face so that when I apply my foundation, it's smoooth. My cousin uses the Smashbox Photofinish in Light though. I believe that will be an excellent primer for our type of skin because it's made for oily & acne prone skin, so that will be the next primer I get. If you're still unsure of using that primer, buy the sample size. It's a bit pricey ($15-17) just for the little tube, but it will last you a while because you only need a little bit. Try the MAC Oil Control Lotion with it as well! It controls my shine for majority of the day

I'm thinking of either getting MACs or Smashbox.. reason being is because MAC's is less expensive. You don't have to pay SO much money to get the perfect primer. It's just trial & error thing goin on, you know

Yes but I have that extremely oily/flaky skin -- it is especially flaky around my nose. The only time I have ever had nice skin was when I was on Accutane for acne. I don't have breakouts very often now but I still have the excessive oiliness. Any thoughts? You probably know more about the different products out there than I do (at least from the looks of your blog)!

oOh ! I get flaky around my nose too! My brother (TheAXIOM) does toooo, it was really bad on him. He kept using a face wash that we have that as Benzoyl Peroxide in it everyday & exfoliates.. so it his face was over done! Soo, he stopped using those everyday and I made sure that he MOISTURIZES !! He never did that. Pack on a little more moisturizer around your nose & overtime the flakiness should go away. Make sure you moisturize every morning & night to keep your face moisturized & hydrated. Most of the time when it's flaky, it's because it's not hydrated enough. I know your skin is oily & moisturizers might make you even more oily.. it really depends on the type of moisturizer. I use Olay Complete All Day Moisture Cream either in Sensitive or Normal. My brother uses Aveeno something.. but they both work great for us!

Thank you. I don't exfoliate but twice a week and I use a gentle cleanser but I will try using a moisturizer around my nose and see if that helps. I am definitely going to try the MAC oil control lotion and Smashbox Light primer.

I just have to tell you and Wazowskilover how pretty you both are and what a cute family you have! The group photo in Wazowskilover's signature is funny and sweet!
