MK Elements Swap:COMPLETE

OOhhh -- more great stuff! I love the mixed patterns too. It is something I am not good it, so I love when others do it.

Susie - don't you just love Storybook? Have you tried the multicut on the glitter letters?

Thanks!! It came from the same pack so I knew I was good to go. I cant normally do it either. ;)

Here are my last two:

Main Street. I wasnt sure what colors to go with but i love this CM paper. I also wasnt sure about mixing the patterns but I think they look good.

Different colors are good I like it

Mad Tea Party. the teacup is a shaker box. everything is very stickled. I used the Glitz ones and wasnt impressed with the chunky-ness.

How did you make the teacup??? Cricut, Pattern, Sizzix????

QUOTE]

Hey Susie are you covered in Glitter from the sugar coated paper???? LOL i hate that stuff

Tea Cup is from Dreams Come true, under the icon shift for Belle. I plotted it out in DS with the flower from George. Cut the flower first and then cut the cups.

I'm sure wishing I had signed up for more groups! Oh my, what awesome pieces!!! Great job!!!!:thumbsup2 I'm happy I at least get a couple of them!

Same here. Everything is great!! :thumbsup2

Why did I break my norm and not join every group......Dang gettin' married.

I think we should get together and go cry in the corner. I'm feeling sooo sad.

But, hey, getting married - that totally trumps all.:thumbsup2

I know....I'm not complaining.....hijacking the thread here but this commute stuff is tough and over there I can't DIS or scrap......so if I go dark y'all know I must be over there but you can always text me. We are waiting for his biopsy results from Wednesday, the results were suppose to be back Monday at the latest and still no word......

From SharonlovesMickey for groups E, L and B1 Fabulous pieces!

Ok seriously these are 2 of the best titles I've seen in a long time i LOVE the Teap party one!!!!
Can i get instructions?
Did the teacups come from the Belle part of the Princess Cart??? I just got read that I'm just wondering.

Question for you ladies - I used the glitter paper from the DCWV stack which I just love (darn the enablers but I had a gift card and a sale!). I just used them again today for the paper piecing swap and the cricut is just not going through all the way - even with the speed on 5 and the pressure on 5. Has anyone had any luck with this? I ended up with barely perforated pieces which I ended up cutting with the scissors today. Brand spankin new blade in there too.

Do you have the ability on your machine to multicut- it cuts up to 4 times per cut. I know that using it to make double cuts have helped people to cut through it more easily. I have used it with 4 cuts to get through chipboard. I know the expression machine has the function and I am guessing the create also has the same feature.

Nope - just the baby bug and I don't think it does that :(

Thanks for the tip though :)

If you have CDS you can do it from there also. You would go under "preferences" in the menu, and select multi-cut, and choose how many times you want it to multi-cut!

This multi-cut thing is so good to know. I'd never bought that kind of paper before but my sister brought some over & we tried to cut a title from it & couldn't. Now I know!

I have used the multi-cut for the thicker paper, chipboard and shrinkydink "paper". I made a shaker box that was a beehive and I put shrinkydink bees inside that I had cut out on the cricut. It works great!

Spectromagic:
All of these are heat embossed in red, purple, green, blue, silver, and gold on the 2nd layer. I also inked the edges in silver.

Woo Hoo! I get one of these and they will look so good with Spectromagic pics. Thanks for taking all the time and effort with the heat embossing, it must have taken a while. And it must look so good in person. I just bought my first heat gun and embossing powders, I plan on using it on one group for the Character swap. Hopefully mine will look good too!

What font did you use for this? I think Sharon used the same thing. And did you use SCAL to cut it?
