Still catching up...sigh.

The Google spreadsheet is self-serve. YOU have to enter your own info on the appropriate sheets. It is not an official list of who is signed up where, it is for the mini-nav so people can locate participants / fellow cruisers.

If you signed up for FE, put your info on the correct spreadsheet.

If you want to sign up for stateroom tag, enter your info on the stateroom tag spreadsheet.

If you are cruising with us and want to be known, put your info on the Master Locator list.

Sorry for the confusion I created -- I'm just trying to make my own life easier! :confused3

Both requests have been sent in but Renee is not returning my calls. At this point we have to wait and hear from them at the ~30 day mark. Group 1 is full, group 2 I believe has 2 slots still open.

Here is a picture of Madison and main Sleeping Beauty. No wig for Maddy as her hair is already blonde. Brooklyn has so many costume changes I can never seem to nail her down for a picture. The main sleeping and my girls all have dresses similar to the one the main SB is wearing. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can get a picture of all three of them together in their dresses that are similar. It is just so hard bc the main SB also changes a million times!!!

Madison just got her microphone for the first time in this picture so she was so excited!

Her dress will be different in the show but is still having alterations done.

The teddy bear in this picture is the bear she has had since the day she was born. She just LOVES it. It too will be making its stage debut! hehe

.
I wonder how hard it was to find a Sleeping Beauty adult who would look so much like Madison will look when she is older!

Dan will be bringing his laptop and his crackberry. The laptop is a good place to dump pictures. Even with a big memory cards we can take a lot of pics in one day. He will also use it for DVD watching since there is no DVD player in the room. He'll get international plan for his crackberry.

We are both engineers so we travel with lots of gadgets!!! I think we'll leave the GPS and satellite radio at home, so that should reduce it.

:rotfl:
My engineer just bought a GPS specifically to bring on the cruise!
:lmao:

I thought Renee said it could be anywhere from the 30 to 40 day mark? I'm hoping we hear something this week.

All of this talk of scrap booking inspired me to finish my very first scrap book! What could this first scrap book be about I wonder? Of course! Our first Disney Cruise.

I love it when a plan comes together!

We have the following for Mexican Train Dominoes:

Woody73 - Woody & Mrs. Woody
Michelle2 - Michelle & Jared
KrisannB - Krisann & Ashley
Happy Goofy - Charlotte & John
ayntlynne - Lynne & Karen
goofprincess - Sandy & Tony

Anyone else?

Woody

Woody, My husband and I might join but he is reluctant to make any definite plans right now. Would it be ok for us to let you know at a later date?

.......
Our TA just got back from Barcelona and Madeira. She loved Madeira -- said it was one of her favorite stops. :( Really curious about what is going to happen with that port.

She was at Madeira after the flood and said it was great? Someone posted a while ago that she heard from someone who lives there who said that they were cleaning up quickly. Sounds like they did. That makes me think we will be there unless something unfortunate happens in the meantime.

Thanks for the info!

The two times I did it, I got one call right at the 30 day mark and on the other one, I hunted them down at the 29 day mark.....:rotfl:

Travel Insurance:

I've used Travelex based on past good experience with them for value and service, and I've used them for this trip as well. The particular policy/plan I purchased for the four of us is "Travelex Travel Plus". My reasons....

1. It's "primary" insurance, which we'll need since my medical insurance does not cover any incidents outside of the US without a large deductible. Travelex is the primary insurance, and no deductible. PLUS, since we bought it in advance, it does not exclude pre-existing conditions. Good for those that, well, have such issues.

2. Medical Evacuation. Goodness forbid if we need it, but I'm sure any medical evacuation in the middle of the ocean isn't cheap. It covers $2M in costs, including getting you back home - and Air ambulance/medevac flights again are not cheap.

I always plan for the worst, but again, that's why the guys call me the "dad" of the group for thinking of such things (as well as being the responsible one)... :)

This is who we are using also - and am confident that we will be covered if anything happens like what happened with the Magic last week, or how one of the airlines in europe went on strike.

OK Guys I know I'm new here but.....I need some Disney prayers :worship:, pixie dust :wizard:, novenas:littleangel:, rubbing of Buddah's belly :goodvibes, well you get the picture.....this trip is very important to me....We are celebrating myself being tumor free (brain) for 6yrs and my husbands 40th bday. We also lost our 6yr old nephew 5yrs ago and have been promising our boys a *big* vacation since then. (Sorry for the sob story.)
Loooong story short (or short for me anyway), we booked our return flight thru Expedia. We had to call Swiss Air to arrange seat assignments ourselves and decided to do this yesterday. We called and <snip> an hr later came to the conclusion we were NOT on the flight we were told we were. We were booked flying out of Spain 4/4 NOT 4/24. NOW we did not book these flights ourselves an Expedia agent did so over the phone (and she looked up departures on the 10th so HOW she put us in on the 4th is BEYOND me). They now are saying no where in their system does it show they booked this...it appears in their system as being booked on line. (I am SURE Visa can trace this) They want to charge us $75 a ticket to rebook and can't get us on a flight for anywhere NEAR what we paid for these tix. It will take us 8wks to get the original $4k back from Swiss Air which is money I can't afford to have held up during this cruise?!?! :sad2: So you see my dilema. I have ALOT of phone calls to make. Any suggestions (aside from you should have used Disney lol) are moooore than welcome. Thanx for letting me vent!!

I'm so sorry - what a nightmare!!! Although this does not help you get your money back from Swiss Air ( I'm thinking Expedia will have to fix - their error )- if you are looking for a not too outrageous flight try Aer Lingus. I think their least expensive flight doesnt leave until 10pm. We are also heading back into Boston. We did decided to stay over in Ireland for an extra day, but also found them to be less expensive than other airlines on the 24th. All of these flights are OUTRAGEOUS!! Good Luck - We're thinking of you!!!

Also my mom prices Span Air/ Air Portugal - not too bad

New QOTD:

What are your favorite candies?

I love m&m (plain or peanut), snack size snickers, reese's cups, skittles, sweettarts (love the chewy ones), skee (I think that's the name), heath bars, jolly ranchers and peppermints.

Kristi

The DH loves anythign dark chocolate or/and with peanut butter.
I do not like dark chocolate at all and only tolerate peanut butter! Milk chocolate or White chocolate if any at all, one exception is a York pepperment pattie, no idea why! I'm more a "let's leave that sugar plain please" kinda girl such as twizzlers, jellybeans, swedish fish, etc. love black licorice too. DH:rotfl: hates it. . .

Expedia is notorious for its poor customer service.

I once booked a fully refundable flight from Expedia. Plans changed, and I requested a refund.

Expedia claimed the ticket was not refundable, even though I had printouts saying it was. I sent them copies, and they still wouldn't budge.

I ended up having to contest it with VISA, which refunded the money.

I suggest contacting your credit card company right away. Good luck.

Woody

Oh soooo true and very good advice. VISA will go to bat for you usually. We also have had nightmare expedia problems (2x, think we'd learn right?) Once we had to get Visa involved and once Disney helped us out (it was their resort that was the problem that time though) Anyway, best wishes.

Is there a bad candy??? OK, seriously love M&Ms, Reese's, York pp (all things chocolate) and caramel anything; DH is a Twizzler/Starburst/dark choc. guy. Currently avoiding sugar, prepping for cruise, but anything goes on-board!

You can only apply gift cards to your onboard account. Everything that costs money onboard is charged to your KTTW card. (key to the world)

Can I use s Disney gift card on the ship in the shops, bars, or apply it to my shipboard accout?

You can apply it to your shipboard account as that is where everything is paid through on the cruise.

I am givine my kids disney gift cards and they will go with me and place it on our account and then they know how much they have to spend and must keep track of it. Theny are not aware that our credit card is also on their KTTW - but they know we check the account throughout the trip and it prints out who charged what.
