I used 1.5GB last time on photos. I had loads! Dan wont believe me that we need to get a new memory card lol!

Memory cards can also be transferred onto CD-Rom on the ship at Shutters. I don't know the cost, but the service is available. Our table mates had it done on our last cruise, I believe it took 1 day.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm sitting here with no music or TV on so I won't miss the doorbell... Sad, really...

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

actually we were one of the first that should have got them. Fedex tried to deliver them last Friday. But our son did not hear the door bell. His excuse Mandy our little one barks at anything. So he never seems to get the door when things are delivered

I woke up at 4am this morning, couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up, finished my new peasant blouse for my pirate wench costume, printed out some iron ons for our Micky Mouse Club tshirts, sorted through ideas for magnets.

Now I am ready for a nap, and I have to be up in an hour to get Patrick ready for work!

That's all because I am so excited to go on a cruise!!!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Very productive for an excited person!!!:rotfl2:

Some more medical issues.....this group is kind of scary....my DD was admitted to the hospital yesterday....she has a viral infection in her intestine and a serious infection in her colon....they were trying to treat it with antibiotics by mouth but it is beating her up so they put her in the hospital....doctor said she is pretty sick and will be in the hospital through the weekend.....it seems so many of us traveling have some sort of medical problem or tragedy in our lives.....thank God I do not drink......and thank God it is happening now and not 5 weeks from now since she will be staying here and taking care of the house and the pets......
Tom

I'm sorry to hear that, and it must be so worrying. Thinking and praying for her and you all.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm sitting here with no music or TV on so I won't miss the doorbell... Sad, really...

:lmao: Not really, though each time Fedex have called here with DCL documents it has been first thing in the morning. Having said that they must go somewhere after me.;)

Nice one and no, not last - I'm still in a Doc-free zone...

Normally a doc-free zone is a great place to be!!

That's very cool - I'm waaaay to disorganised for that. Tho' I did manage to co-ordinate my cardigan with my champagne cocktail at the Palo brunch last September... :rolleyes1

Lovely photo, and I love the green.

Now take care of yourself, Marilyn...

Thanks Karen, I am, and John is looking after me too!!

I received my documents. I'm curious about one thing, though. Several people have mentioned one spouse getting theirs and still waiting on the other spouse's documents. (?) Ours came addressed to me since I booked in my name but we got luggage tags for both my husband and myself. This seems to me to mean that they consider this to be for both of us and nothing else will be coming. Is this not true for all of us? Just curious. :-)

I think so, ours is for both of us.

I hope they get this under control soon and your DD is back home feeling great.

We have 2 staterooms booked and have received cruise documents for only one so far. The reservations are under my name but I have only received the documents for the second stateroom.

Maybe they will arrive tomorrow. :goodvibes

Yes ... but I have had 2 years to prepare for this .... not a just a couple of months like you. I have NO excuse for the :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Oh Sarah, it would make no difference with me, hun!!! 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years - I still leave everything to the last minute!!! Nothing seems real until I start feeling the fear!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

:teeth: My new pup, Fred (well, not so new - he's 8 months old now) barks at everything - footsteps on the gravel drive; doorbell; even the phone!!! Which is fab from a security point of view BUT drives me crazy - especially as he sets the others off too!!!

However, I've made sure I'm in charge today tho' - we've had a chat ;) and there will be NO pointless barking... :rolleyes1

Thanks Karen, I am, and John is looking after me too!!
Good man!!!

oh no ... dress doesn't fit .... it hovers about 4 inches from the floor and sticks out all strange like ... I suppose thats the hazard of buying from Ebay. Back it goes !!!! Better put formal dress back on the list LOL :rotfl2:

Sorry I'm part of the confussing bunch. Ours is because when we booked Dan wasn't living with me so I put him down as one address and me as another. i have never changed this since we moved in (and in fact I am still down as my Mum's address) so we got seperate documents. Scared Dan mind as it says he's doing the Rock Tour on his own lol! If you are down as the same address youll just get the one lot!

Oh good tip! Think this may be a navigator moment lol!

pixiedust: for all who are sick! I wish you a speedy recovery!

Hey all!!

Heard from DCL today about tastings, and I think we have flustered them a bit...

First, they have asked that we do not add anyone else to the seminars, so if you are on a wait list, you will beed to go and book with Guest Services at boarding.

On to the reply notes...

Wine - 56 people interested - to confirm with wine manager 1 cruise prior to sailing- what are the options - $15 per person (Looks like we can have one group - but in the same email they talked about splitting wine up as they will do 7-9 total throughout the cruise. so unlikely that we will have a DIS only tasting/seminar.)

Cognac - 34 people interested – to confirm with ABM split group in 2 or 3 – 15 each - $20 per person (so, I have asked for 2 groups of 17 so that we can stay together - I hope that is OK)

Beer - 43 people interested – possible seperate seminar only for this group - $ 15 per person (seems that this is the ONLY one that will be a DIS only tasting...)

Martini - 70 people interested – to split group in two and give chance for other guests. Usually we have 2-or 3 seminars per crossing (40pax each) - $15 per person (if we go to 35 per group it doesn't afford DCL much for other passengers. I think we are better off getting into 3 groups - thoughts? We can do 25, 25, 20 if everyone is OK with that.)

Tequila - 50 people interested - to split group in two and give chance for other guests. Usually we have 2-or 3 seminars per crossing (40pax each) - $15 per person (like wine, I think we are better off being very flexible, as they have come out and said they want to be able to add other passengers to the group. So, what about 2 groups of 25?)

Drink of the day - 48 people interested – Unable to do, we don't have a seminar for this. (I have seen impromptu tastings, not sure if we can arrange this once on board or not...)

Mojito - 42 people interested – please provide menu details – is it seminar or menu? (We stumped them - so I told them it was a seminar. Waiting for feedback. I hope that we are able to do this one!)

So, after I got this, I did call and talk to Dorothy and the sheer volume of requests really shocked everyone! So, based on that I suggest we agree to do smaller groups and have them primarily DIS. This is what I will go with unless there are objections. My PM box is pretty full, so please just post to the list.

Thanks everyone!
Sue

Thanks Sue! Sounds great.

Yes everything lol!

No important question - what happened with the Sailaway Party? Was it in the afternoon or in the evening when you actually sailed away?

How was the food? Anything mega tasty we should all try?

Um thats all I can think of for now but Ill come up with more I'm sure

Oh and important question - Did you really really love it????
