I guess I was lucky last night after reading others comments. I was able to get what we wanted and was in bed by 12:20!
We booked the submarine in Aruba, Highlights of CR and city tours in PV and Manzanillo..Anyone else joining us?
Hi Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on vaccinations for the trip. Does anyone get the hepatitis shots? I know they reccomend them if you are staying at a resort in one of these countries but how about with cruises??
Hi heather and Mike, from not so sunny scotlandHi everyone. We'll also be joining all of you on this cruise. I've been lurking on the forum for a while, but thought I'd officially say hi.
We're silver members, so we just booked excursions and Palo dinner this morning. Got most of what we wanted, except for no brunch. I'll just keep checking.
We're also joining the whale watching group in Cabo.
We're both really excited to be doing this cruise, our longest has been 7 days, so I'm looking for to all the relaxing sea days.
Now I'm off to PM folks with our details.

VAl I dont want to comit, I really felt stressed last time all the stuff I had to do and a lot clashed, If I can come I will, if I can not be accomodated iTS MY OWN FAULT.It is great to know you will participate in Champagne Girls, no matter which option is offered but it would really really help if you vote on your preference. Thanks. Val
Off to the gym to work on those 7 pounds I found on the TA cruise. Any physic majors out there - I don't understand how a little teeny tiny 3 ounce desert in can result in 1 pound gain. Seems logical to me that if I eat a 1 pound box of chocolates the most I should gain is 1 pound, not 5. Life is not fair!!

I the city tour in Manzanillo will be very possible - given it's pretty much the only non-resort tour there....
We were thinking of the Manzanillo city tour but thought it would just be cheaper to take a taxi to the downtown and back. Cant be $60 for a cab back and forth?

Many of you have expressed interest in a Champagne Girls gala. Two ideas have been suggested; 1) An organized private champagne tasting (DCL instruction and cost), complete with pink boas and tiaras, or 2) BYOB (champagne, alcoholic or non, or beverage of your choice) hen session, complete with pink boas and tiaras. Of course we will have to have the occasion captured on film. I propose we vote on which we would prefer, 1, 2 or both. Let me know your vote by next Friday. Then I will get in touch with DCL and see what can be arranged.

High Tea is only on sea days. After you board go to Wavebands to either make a reservation or get on the waiting list. To the new people welcome.

Good Morning
We are booked on the Panama Canal cruise and have booked the Cabo Whale Watch that Tinkerbel129 has organized.
We were in Aruba in Fall, 2008. I got up at 5:30 am to be certain that I would see the Wonder arrive. We are thrilled to be on this trip. We will be visiting Disneyland for the first time at the end of the trip. I have gotten so much info from the boards.
My husband (61) and I (59) are in a GTY 5A at this point booked on DVC points. I am not sure how to contact Jeff and Tinkerbel129 since I do not have enough postings to send pm or email.
We are excited to join this very active group.

Count me in as someone who was hoping for brunch at Palo, but only got dinner. Would anyone be interested in forming a group of 12-14 and making a request for brunch in the private dining area? I have never done brunch and I have never done private dining, but am willing to get a group together and fax the request to DCL. I understand that the request is not reviewed until about 30 days prior to sail, but that then we might know if we have to get to port early or not . . .
Let me know if you are interested.
Dont think it should be a problemI just saw in a Disney promo email that the WDW marathon is starts January 6, the day we set sail. I'm driving from WDW that morning to the port- will the marathon affect traffic? We usually leave WDW by 8:00 AM so we have time to stop at Publix and ABC Liquor on the way when they open at 9:00, then gas up and return rental car and get to the port around 10-10:30ish for an early boarding number. Do you think leaving at 8:30 is still okay or will it be very slow getting out of WDW that morning?
Thanks for the reassurance! Would hate to damper my excitement of getting to the ship by getting stuck in traffic, I figured I would be safe but wanted to ask to be safe than sorry!Dont think it should be a problem
The marathon weeked starts the the races are at the weekend, marathon sunday, half sat. They have you collect race numbers starting from the thursday and have an expo.

Hi all from Birmingham Alabama. Took a volunteer bump out of Louisville. $575 to get back to tampa 6 1/2 hours later. The bad part is, 3 hours in Birmingham airport. At least they have free wifi. I'm off to find the bar....
I have a lot of PM's and at least 1 email. I'll work on getting through them, I promise.
