I love working for the mouse, it is the best job I have ever had! It certainly has it's difficulties but it is worth all of that :) I work at Magic Kingdom on Main Street in the Emporium so I get to see lots of people!

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely look into the service. See you soon!

Holly

When do you work this week? We should be going back to MK at least 2 more days this week. We could stop by and say Hi if you're working.

All the men stayed at MK until 3am last night!

Just got the last of my FE gifts in the mail Saturday! The last part was magnets that I ordered from Vista Prints- they came out really nice, hope you'll all love them! Cant wait to take over the dining room table at some point over the 4-day weekend coming up to spread out all my gifts and make up my bags!

Hi,

In Australia we have tomato sauce. The main brands are Fountain, Heinz and Masterfoods.

Next time I'm at the supermarket I'll have a look and see if there is any Watties Ketchup. If I am able to find it, I'll get some for you.

Catherine

Good Morning, Catherine.

Thank you for taking the time to check. It would really be a treat!

Looking forward to meeting you on the cruise, with or without the Watties!

Judy :banana::banana::banana:

I tried to PM you but it would not go through. I was wondering if you got the reservations for the dining for World of Color.

Hi there everyone -

So...long story short, DH and I (Connie) made reservations this morning for one of the THREE rooms left for this cruise. Last minute decision, since we are already booked on the 12-30-2010 Wonder cruise, and live in the LA/OC area. :dance3:

Too shell-shocked at this point to be as excited as I know I will be. I need to get a grip on the fact that 1) DH is going to be on a ship for 21 days (he's a little ADHD), 2)We get to see the Panama Canal, 3)I just made reservations for a cruise that leaves in like 40 days.

Anyway, I wanted to check in with everyone, and start to make some friends. I am depending on you people to help keep DH entertained for a couple weeks. :grouphug:

So, nice to meet you. I will be checking in regularly.

Hi Connie and George. Great to see you, and so pleased you booked!!! It is going to be a fantastic cruise, and I just can't wait.

Goodness though, 40 days!!!

Going to the Dentist makes me break in a cold sweat. I was traumatized as child in Germany with the dentist. Now if anything other than a cleaning I have IV conscious sedation with IV versed! It is great. Slowly getting the FE together. I ordered some more items so should be in soon. How many books should I do on a my Kindle?

Hi Connie,

Welcome!!!!

You can accomplish a lot in 40 days. DH & I once decided to join my parents on a cruise a week out:scared1:and it involved international travel since it was the WBTA in '07, talk about really having to pull things together at the last minute. Thank God I had an understanding boss at the time b/c I piled a ton of work on us to be done in four days.

I still can't wrap my own mind around the fact that this cruise is 40 days away. There's Thanksgiving, we leave for WDW on Saturday and Christmas all in between, not to mention I have school to deal with during all of this. I'll focus on this trip when we get home from WDW then it will kick in that we're leaving in almost a month.:woohoo:

Welcome aboard!!! Only 3 rooms left?! It seems like just a couple of weeks ago there was still a lot of availability. Guess there will be no chance to buy an upgrade at the port. Anyway, as far as helping keeping DH busy, check out page 1 of this thread. There are quite a few activities planned :thumbsup2

Looks like I'm not the only one with dentist anxiety. I would rather have any other medical exam than to have a dental exam or work. Our poor DD has picked it up from me. Even though she goes monthly for her ortho check she gets nervous.

Wow, there were only three rooms left!??! We are going to have a full ship and lots of people to meet! Fun!

Welcome to the group....we look forward to meeting you.

We are Judy and Michael and we live in 'rainy' San Francisco Bay.

Final Notice...

If you would like your lanyards mailed to you - please make sure you contact me and make arrangements by tomorrow - I really would like to have everything mailed out by Wednesday and not fight the post office during the holidays!

Thanks so much!

Well, the way my TA put it when I was making reservations, there were three staterooms to pick from; maybe he was only talking about cat 10, which was what we got (#1047).

I would much prefer cat 7, which is the category we have had in the past. But, when you make a last minute reservation, what are you going to do? Take what you can get, and hope that someone cancels and we can upgrade closer to the sail date.

Although I was telling my TA that maybe we would just stay in the stateroom from the 12-30 cruise, and be "squatters" :rotfl2: If we sweet talk our host/hostess, they might be on our side. ;)

As it is, we will be on deck 1, close to the medical center. On the bright side, there aren't a lot of staterooms on that deck, so it will be quiet, AND we will be right there @ the gangway; 1st ones off the ship at port!! :cool1:

As you can see, I am getting a grip already, and starting to look forward to this cruise. We'll get to see football playoffs on the ship, won't we? That's good.

Does anyone have any contact with WideEyedWonder? I noticed they haven't been on and need to contact them.

Thanks!

I feel for anyone who has to go to the dentist and even more so having a root canal. I for one just cannot stand the dentist as I was tramatized as a youth in the dentist chair. To this day I get cold sweats before going in to see the dentist and have to get to the office an hour before the appointment to calm myself down. :rotfl2: Crazy I know, but if I don't the dentist won't work on me. LOL She's told me on more than one occasion that it affects the way novocane numbs the area and that if I don't want more shots to calm down. LOL

Oh God! Just the thought gave me the chills. Hearing the drill just gets the nerves going and I've clasp my hands together so tight that my hands turn color from lack of blood flow. :rotfl:

Hate the dentist and always will.

I used to really hate it. Then I discovered MP3 players. I just put on the headphones and music and adjust the volume so I can't hear the drill. I still don't like the dentist, but I can deal with it. :cool2:

I got mine on Friday but I had to finish the PC book first and I did. That was a tough read but I am happy to have the history, just pretty dry.

I put 3 books on mine yesterday - the Stieg Larsson series but I have more on my list on Amazon to put on before we sail. Since I will have access to the internet right up until we sail, just so long as I get them on there it will be OK. Had to take the car in for an oil change today and started reading the first one - must say pretty interesting. Will see how much reading I get done over the trip to Ohio.

:welcome: to you both. Wow, how awesome to be on the Wonder that long!

Dentist talk - actually, my current dentist is awesome. I hate getting my teeth cleaned but fillings (well, other than the sticker shock part) is painless.

Have a great afternoon everyone!

Well, at least you'll be already packed! Check the first two posts on page 1 for more info.

My friend with much the same experience as the op now swears by nitrous oxide:laughing:

Oh dentists! After 8 root canals and 2 implants---I am finally having a night mouth guard fitted! Who knew that being an Archivist in the Federal Government would be so stressful?! I can't have the usual numbing stuff---it makes my heart race---so I am given the stuff that wears off quickly. Sigh. I also need many MRIs---not painful but extremely annoying---some are 3 hours long! In these situations I go to my Happy Place---yep, you guessed it---WDW! I map out the parks and figure out the routes between the rides and shows and plan what I do in case of rain/ride closed/long lines and this seems to work for me---sometimes I even visualize It's A Small World:)

I too want to welcome all the new people---and if there are any January birthdays in the crowd to please PM me with the name and date and I'll have a little something extra for that person:yay:

I hope to purchase a new color printer this coming weekend so I'll be able to print out the nametags to go with our wonderful lanyards! They will also fit in the Disney-provided lanyards too!

What resolution do you need?

OK Jeff! I went on the site I would like to use and uploaded the #12 image you have on the website under images and logos. At 300x165 pixels, it is too small. Do you have somthing larger on file you could get to me?

Merci!
