Andrea & Kory's 6/11/11 Wishes Wedding--WP&GF Ballroom**Updated 8/15 Ann. Pics Last!

Woohoo! Our ceremony starts at 7:30 if you happen to be there then or right after :)

Also, one of our room blocks was GF if you need a discount...feel free to try under our name (we met our room block numbers but I think they should still give discounts after)...they would be under Mason/Howell wedding. And how exciting about your site visit!

Andrea,

Thanks for the offer of the room block that was so sweet!!! I was able to get a decent AP rate, so I am all set. Hopefully, it works out for us that weekend. DH isn't sure that Friday is good for him to take off or the following one.

Have a fabulous wedding!!!

I can't remember if I posted about my rehearsal dinner dress or not, and I'm too tired to go back and look now, so I'll just post again.

So I'd been searching online for a dress for the rehearsal dinner. I knew I wanted purple since that was my wedding color. The only ones I found that I really liked were more than what I wanted to pay or discontinued. On my bridal shower weekend, my mom and aunt came down and we went shopping with my matron of honor.

We went to a couple of stores but nothing really caught my eye. Then we went into Bloomingdales. I headed straight to the clearance rack since their dresses, regularly priced, were more than I wanted to pay.

And what did I find? One of the dresses that I loved that was discontinued! I tried it on and we loved it! One problem--it was a size too big (or so I thought). I could practically pull it down without unzipping it. So the sales associate looked it up and found one in NJ that was a size smaller and had it mailed to me. I decided to go ahead and buy this bigger dress just in case the new one didn't fit, or something was wrong with it. And it's a good thing I did. The dress, only one size down, was waaaay to small! I couldn't even get it zipped up! Such a huge difference in one size! So I kept the bigger size and have it in for alterations. The dress was normally $150, was on clearance, and then the sales associate gave us his friends and family discount (no idea why) so we got it for $62!! Woohoo! I go pick it up tomorrow and I can't wait to see how it fits!

Anyways, here it is

I posted this in the main boards too..

Hi! Does anyone have any pictures of the ice slipper with the sorbet and the light that is purple?

We are having the purple light but my dad and I are arguing (**discussing) the flavor that that should be in there. I say raspberry champagne because the dark color will show up nicely against the glass and the lemon would get washed out. My dad is saying lemon because the raspberry champagne would look too red and the lemon would turn purple because of the light.

Sooooo....I thought I'd check and see if anyone has any pictures to help us out!

Thanks so much! And the slipper pics did help!

So today I packed up the bins to drop off at Franck's on Tuesday. I also wrapped my bridesmaids gift, my flower girls gifts and my dad's gift. I am still waiting on my moms. I hope it gets here in time!

I also decided to do welcome bags (way to wait til the last minute!) It might not sound like a good reason, but I wasn't going to do them since it was mostly my immediate family staying on property, and I know they wouldn't care if I did them or not. But there are two of DFs groomsmen staying on property so I decided I would feel bad the whole time if I didnt'.

I think I am going to include the times guide, a door hanger, bottled waters, a snack (like chips/granola bar), maybe some travel advil/tylenol, and then a couple of little things for the families with kids. Does that sound like enough?

And here's the times guide I made. Thank you soooo much to Wendy for sending me the template!!!!
