So it looks like the weather is currently forcasted to start out nice but warm up rapidly.

That weather looks amazing to me... it's been feeling like the high 90's to triple digits here in Florida. The humidity sucks and I am looking forward to the humid-less temps of California. Haze and fog I can deal with... humidity not so much.

I leave in just about 14 hours! So soon!

Little concerned with my ankle as its been feeling a bit off the past few days but right now the plan is that if it gets worse while walking around tomorrow to get it taped before the race

I treat it like Supermarket Sweep...but with advance notice. The program has a map of all the vendors and I just go off of that. No browsing for me...but I am not fond of crowds and the space for the Expo is much smaller at DL than any of the races at WDW.

I'm sitting here watching my last group of students take their final exam. Fortunately, the computer in the classroom is working so I actually have the grades from the earlier classes done already.

Tomorrow, I need to finish packing, need to do a little bit of laundry, and finish up grades, then Saturday I'm flying out.

I teach at Zane State College in Zanesville. It's a smaller community college. I teach a mixture of Business Math, Accounting, and Computer Software (office automation).

The meet is at 5 on Saturday at La Brea Bakery at DTD. I'm here now- went to the expo earlier and heading out to DCA after a short break at the hotel. Already having a great vacation!

We're headed down there tomorrow morning, DL all day, then expo and checkign into VGC for the very first time!!!

Heading down to Dland tomorrow! I flew in today, but have been spending time with my parents.

I can't wait to see everything. I have a list of things I "need" (body gluide) and things I "want" (a new watch, bondi bands, new shoes, new shirts.... list goes on). Luckily I have my parents to make sure I don't go over board on shopping.

Now if I could decide on what shirt to wear... my Princess Half Shirt or one of my training shirts from college which I love....

The expo is no joke! I bought a lot of stuff since it's so much cheaper here than in Canada. It's only sport beans, but paying $1/pack instead of $2.50/pack gets addicting. Be careful with the $9 asics hats though; I bought one and I guess I didn't try it on. They are not manufactured very well and it looks very off centre. I also bought a hat and shirt from disney merchandise to match the ones I bought at WDW.

I won a hat from the Angels booth and chatted up Jeff Galloway on his downtime. I walked into the expo when he surprisingly mentioned my city, so I was caught off-guard in why he would say it. Turns out his wife's marathon PR is the big race in my city.

The expo is way smaller than I thought it would be. I guess I'm used to the Princess and Rock & Roll ones.
But I still managed to spend some good cash.


We're about ready to leave the hotel this early AM to watch my sister and my nieces husband do the 5k. I love their Star Wars shirts.
Then the kids do the kids run.
