BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!! I haven't really been reading the wdw news this week, I've been so busy just trying to keep the trip report up to date. We were just down in the lounge having a snack and Paula (a CR CM) asked us when we would be returning to WDW... DH told her June for Star Wars weekends. She said oh did you know about the character meals???? Uhhhh, no. (((yes I admitted I didn't know something regarding WDW news)) So we just booked the Star Wars character breakfast at Sci-Fi and the Jedi Mickey dinner at Hollywood&Vine!!!! The kids are going to DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!

I quickly just checked AP discount availability, we hadn't even booked a room yet, and luckily I found the Boardwalk. Being near the Studios is a must for Star Wars Weekends!

The CR has grown on me this week. I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. Breaking it down I would say the rooms are the best part, I love all the extra space and having the daybed guarantee. We LOVE our view, I rarely pay extra for water view but we have so enjoyed siting on our balcony it is going to be impossible to go back to standard views after this. I think the resort needs a nicer pool area, some flowers/plants/decor or something to spruce it up out there. There's just so much concrete. But it was nice not having to fight for a pool chair, we found them easily.

This is exactly how we feel about CR CL! Love your photos - brings back great memories! We surprised the boys today and will be checking in to Poly CL bright and early tomorrow morning - could you let us know the status of the resort monorail? Would love to know the latest!

It has broken down since we've been here. This morning it was stuck over at the MK station with a crew working on it for quit some time. I think they are technically on a regular schedule, but the breakdowns seem to be happening from time to time. After they fixed it at the MK then the next monorail coming from the GF got stuck too. Remember you can always walk over to MK and grab a bus to the Beach Club and walk to Epcot through the International Gateway if the monorail is down. Not great, but at least it's an option.

Love BWI for SWW!!! Great news!

BWI was full, we booked a 1 bedroom villa. That was the only thing we could get at an AP rate in any of the Epcot resorts. I should have been looking sooner but as usual, I'm doing things last minute. It's been a long long long time since we've stayed there. The location is perfect, and we'll rent a car so we can get groceries for snacks and drinks.

My family stayed at BLT last October and we found the monorail to be great with the little ones (2yr old and 4yr old) you just roll the stroller on no need to fold it like you do on the bus. The monorail was great for nights where our 2yr fell asleep. We did also walk to MK a few times with no problems it took less than 10 minutes but our 4yr LOVES the monorail so for that reason we lean toward monorail.

We are on a never-ending bus trip to the studios. Left CR. Stopped at Poly. Stopped at GF. Luckily we aren't in a hurry.

Just read your entire TR.....Thank you for taking the time to post it!!

I never think that I will have the energy to post during the stay and by the time I get home, I get caught up in regular life.....but that is a really great way to memorialize the trip with your kids for later on.....

I could so identify with your family in your choices and and what you posted that you enjoyed....so got me excited for our upcoming trip in June.

I have also read others posting that multi park FP+ are coming...that will change the strategy for planning so I keep watching and reading...:surf web:

I broke down and bought 4 sets of Glow with the Show. And it was very cool I admit.

We did the 8:30 Fantasmic with a Fastpass. Then had dinner at the brown derby. The food was delicious!
