October 2015!!

Last week of October going into November. First half at CSR for a conference, and the second half at either Poly or Contemporary for the real vacation with hubs and Mr. Littles (first time, 22 months old!).

We are heading to Pop 10/2-10/9. I can't wait! Our last trip was a split stay POFQ/POR in 2013.

I have Oct 28th - Nov 8th Planned at ASMo. We plan on doing the MNSSHP on one of the last days- and we are hoping to catch the first MVMCP- We have done MVMCP for the last 2 years and loved it- our daughter wants to see the MNSSHP so this is my plan. Any thoughts? I know what the prices are usually...so I budget for it.

October is awesome because of the food and wine. We went october 2012 and 2013 and weather is hot and sunny with sometimes a few rain storms. I didn't really love epcot at night during the FW festival due to the large crowds. Couldnt even move!!!! I also thought it was kinda busy for October?? We are going again in November 2015 but just wanted to stop in and say hi! :wave2: You all deffinetly picked a great time to go!

Someone ( husband ) forgot to put in his vacation time, so our September 2014 trip is now late October 2015. I am thinking our plan will stay the same, PoP for our resort and deluxe dining for my husband, he's a big eater. Just me and him going and its his first trip, can't wait to show him Disney.

Thinking Oct 2nd - 7th at ASSp. Maybe upgrading to a mod if its worth it for discounts. Then we'd be heading to Uni at Hard Rock .

We're planning to go early October so we can do the Tower of Terror race. I've been reading in previous years it was still pretty humid even at night! I saw today someone posted that all hotels are full for T of T weekend. We plan to stay the entire week after the race so I'm hoping crowds die down afterwards. I definitely want to do the Mickey's NSSH party.

Hotels are full 2015 T of T weekend???

Woohoo!! Just booked our October 2015 trip, Oct.15-Oct.27!!!! We will be staying at the Beach Club! :cool1::cool1:

Finally made my decision on the last week of October. Just have to get it approved with my boyfriend since he's going too. Now just need to bite the $bullet and pick POFQ over pop. I know in the end that's where we'll stay. I'm hoping the crowds won't be terrible. We usually go in June/July and need a break from the crazy crowds. The pictures from the low crowds thread are what I'd love to see in October but I know it'll be much busier than that.

We're planning a week long stay in Oct 2015 as well, just not sure of the exact dates yet, but most likely the last week of the month. I'm having a hard time deciding on which resort for the trip, we loved the Wilderness Lodge last year, but BC/YC are in the running as well since we plan on EPCOT and HS next trip. Well, if there is anything left open at HS! Fingers crossed there is a good bounce back offer available when we stay at POR for a night in December.

New to posting on here but read threads all the time. We are planning a 9 day trip in October. I keep seeing people say that they are splitting their time between resorts (staying 1/2 in one and 1/2 in another). Never thought of doing this. What are the benefits or is it just to experience more then one resort? Trying to soak up all the info! Thanks!:)

We booked the bounceback offer for 10/2-10/11 at POFQ. Just read on Facebook that the ToT 10 miler is not currently on the race schedule for next year.

Hey all... we are booked for Oct. 24-31st, 2015. Staying at POP, using the DXDP and hoping for the FDP upgrade. We will be celebrating our honeymoon and his birthday (oct 23). 1 yr to go!!!

I just booked our trip today! It will be my mom and dad in one room and myself, husband and our five year old in another. Staying at the Polynesian in theme park view club level rooms October 23- nov 1 with the dining plan.

Booked a bounceback offer this year while we were at POFQ. Absolutely love the resort so count us in!

hi and welcome! We have done a split say 1 time. Many people like them, many don't. We did it to experience 2 different resorts (my daughters wanted the CSR pool, I wanted WL).

It was a unique experience but I, personally, don't want to do it again. I'm one of those people who like to go and stay put. It is partly due to the lost time of transferring resorts and partly because I am "anal retentive" about checking rooms before bringing any of our stuff in.

I'm glad we did it just so I would know but I didn't get any true benefit from it.

We just booked and are going Oct 23-30.
It's my son's (98) second visit and my daughter (4) and BF's first visit!

We stayed at PoP before and are now booked at Port Orleans - Riverside.
322 days to go.......

We did a bounce back when we were there this year and also got free QS dining! I'm interested in seeing all the changes going on at AK - many buildings going up!:cool1:
