Great!!! We are at BLT as well, hope to meet folks at TTOTW lounge. It's not blacked out for folks staying elsewhere, so we could have a good sized group!

We are so excited as well! We are booked for the week before and will be staying at Wilderness Lodge! Will definitely look to join everyone at TTOTW the night before. With the snow in NJ - its nice to have something to look forward to!

We are staying at BLT after the cruise, it's been a few years since we stayed there; in 2016 we stayed at the Polynesian. I really like the ability to walk to Magic Kingdom, to monorail to Epcot, and to use boat transportation to Fort Wilderness. I'm looking forward to the cruise even more - have the date when we can reserve specialty dining and tours marked on the calendar. It isn't so long now, six months....

Passports have come back with that complete all we have to do is wait. We are at about 180 days out which means 60 days until we get to book activities.

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been a bit absent on our cruisemeet. I like to believe this thread is a well oiled machine and doesn't need much attention, but it deserves better.

First, any word yet on when the AK special Member event is opening up reservations? Please keep me in the loop if anyone hears anything. I keep forgetting to check the website and am afraid I'm going to miss the announcement.

Second, does anyone know the exact day we can book WDW dining for a Sept 2nd stay?

Third, we have never been to Tortola so I'm hoping someone will share their experience and help advise on what excursions are good.

and last but not least, I believe we finally figured out our precruise stay. We've been weighing options back and forth between WDW vs Port vs MCO Hyatt, each with it's own set of logistical challenges. Well the Hyatt, priced us right out of that option, so we looked at the port, and found the Marriott Residence Inn had a 2 bdrm member rate for $279 which we grabbed. We'll split it with JQ's brother Tom who is joining us on this trip.

Unfortunately, that means, we will not be able to make the mini meet at BLT. But if anyone else is at the port we plan to be at Jetty Park to watch the Dream sailout the day before. we are a pty of 4 and will have a vehicle for the night so let us know if you'd like to join us.

No word yet on when to book AK night for members. They have not even had sign ups for July's Typhoon Lagoon's events.

Can't tell you how excited we are. It's been a long time waiting. We real want to be involved in the FE group. It would be 2 cabins. My cousin and her husband which are also DVC members are going too. Please help.

Tom and I have been members since 2003, and our first DVC Members cruise was in 2005.

I organize a local candy/snack exchange using the fish extenders, and I cap each group between 6-11 cabins. We give enough to each cabin to share. If you are interested, just mention here.

Have you been on other cruises, DCL or otherwise? We are retired and have 5 cruises this year, including DCL's EBTA this May and the WBPC cruise this October! I turned 70 in January, and am celebrating all year!

Just let me know and how many we should make, between the 2 cabins we have 4 people. We have been on the "Big Red Boat" for our honeymoon and 4 other Disney Cruises, including the 1st member cruise. My husband retires this year and we are hoping for several cruises next year. You deserve to celebrate all year!!!!!

There is still plenty of time before the cruise. Everyone is welcomed to join the candy/snack exchange, would you also be interested in a craft fish exchange? I am not crafty at all. Poison Ivy (above post 210) has organized a FE. If that's full, should I start a new list for anyone interested in a craft FE?

We have received an offer for our Ohio house, and closing is mid April. We are on the TA cruise in May, so beginning in June, I will ask for Cabin numbers for both the Candy Exchange and the Craft FE group. For the Candy Exchange, I limit participation to 6-11 cabins. How many cabins should be allowed in the craft FE group?
