So we leave tomorrow night and I am still making changes, lol. I just switched to Royal Pacific from Hard Rock for the Universal portion of our trip. With an APH rate I saved almost $700!!! Woot woot!! So ready to go!

Two weeks until my trip! I started planning in December. It was supposed to be a quick solo trip: 2 days in the parks before the Star Wars Celebration at the Orlando convention center. I knew crowds would be crazy, but I've been several times in the past few years, so I got FP for my favorites and was fully content to just go with the flow.

Just last weekend my parents decided they want to come with me. I'm thrilled to show them around and share my love of Disney--they've only been there once, when I was 3 years old--but now just going with the flow is out the window! I've never been during peak crowds, but surprisingly they seem cool with 7am EMH, so I think we'll be okay.

Their one request? They announced this morning that a neighbor told them they could eat dinner in the Beast's castle, so we should do that

I don't remember seeing one, but I figured I would ask anyway......Is there a post / master list of everyone's dates? That way we could see who is traveling at the same time in case someone wanted to arrange a DISmeet.

5 days till we leave... I can't wait!!! I have been so busy with work and then doing other things in between that it just kinda snuck up on me.

We had the final parent and chaperone meeting last night. We found out that because our original hotel got over booked they upgraded up to a nicer hotel. The kids had found out in class and had already been checking out the website and are super excited. We did all the chaperone, room, and bus assignments for all 69 kids and 15 adults. DS was happy that he and his core group of friends, as well a me, are on the same bus.

If you're at MK next Thursday April 6th the band will be marching their parade route at 6:30.

Hi there RMT- I think you'll be fine if you rope drop (at emh time, if applicable) and head out of the park noonish/early afternoon. Is that your touring style?

Maybe make a touring plan at the touring plan website for those days to see what it may look like.

Pretty much done futzing with my touring plans until we are in-park.

Seeing if a BOG noonish lunch on 4/7 and/or trattoria late breakfast on 4/12 open up; I have both *********** and touringplans finders going. It's fine if neither happen, would just be some extra funs.

Have a list of final things to buy at target this weekend that couldn't get online.

Revised garden grocer order.

Cleaning and preparing for house sitter.

Charging vid cam batteries.

Downloaded Dark Sky app.

Completed online check-in.

Ok, looking for advice regarding touring plans....I am taking my daughter on a surprise mommy & daughter trip over spring break.

Resort booked, ADRs done, FP+ made. Like any "normal" planner I have added and changed things around several times.

Most recently I came across a 7am reservation for Cindy's Round Table and grabbed it. But now I have a dilemma, MK has Magic Hours this day from 7am - 8am. So do I keep the ressie (we've never eaten here before, my daughter is 10 and I have no idea how much longer she'll be into Princesses - - and we do have a ressie on another day for the new Princess breakfast at Trattoria al Forno) or do I cancel and take advantage of the EMH?

Sorry for rambling....but what would you do?

This is a tough call. The 7am hour is gold on spring break crowd levels.

Can you get touringplans res finder and mouse dining to scan reservations at Akershus instead on a non-emh Epcot day? And also have them scan for a late breakfast at CRT, so it can be a break after the morning rides?

If you can't get a different breakfast, it comes down to whether you think she is more into fantasyland and tomorrowland rides or princesses.

So close now! My TP room fax was sent. Last time I used it I got the floor I wanted, but the opposite side of the resort. This time, I have an area I am requesting, but state I would be happy anywhere in the building if no rooms in that area are avail, and if that building isn't avail, I gave another building as a second choice. We shall see!

I have the bog reservation for lunch next week! Both TP and MD came through, of course it was at 1 in the morning and I almost decided to ignore it; but when I realized it was two texts at once I figured it must be for bog.

Yesterday the trattoria bon voyage came up, but I realized I would not have enough time, so I didn't take the res. This one was interesting, MD gave me the alert about half an hour before TP. For bog, they both came in at the same time. I'd suggest setting up both if you want a res watch.

I just stumbled upon a BOG lunch and was able to grab that and move my Skipper Canteen lunch to dinner. I would rather have dinner at BOG, but at least my parents will get to eat there. I'll keep looking in the meantime.

Awesome with the bog lunch, hopefully you can get a dinner. Unfortunately only lunch will work for us.

How did it end up being April so fast? I'm busy breaking in my sandals (wearing sneakers to work since it's still cold and there's still snow on the ground, wearing sandals throughout the day, changing to drive home, changing into different sandals while walking around at home) to make sure they're all ready to go for comfy touring!
