@Albort - Do you know if you can pay someone else's mortgage with Plastiq?
Is that for the personal AMEX or the business. I saw 100k on my mailer and got excited only to
open up and it was the business card. I keep getting 60k offer for personal.
If you got 100k offer for personal im hopeful it may come around again.
it varies i guess. im not sure which Amex Platinum ur getting(business or personal) but for business, ive seen as high as 150k. i was getting 1 every other week, but since getting my spg, i get it once a month now.
Great deal. I got the 100k with 3k spend but since it was targeted had lots of headaches. 100k is Worth it.OK. Got home and looked at it. It's a personal card. 100K points after $5000 spend in the first 3 months. Annual fee of $550. 5x points on flights booked directly with airlines or with AmEx travel. $200 annual Uber credit and 5x points on "eligible" hotels booked on AmEx travel. $200 airline credit for incidental fees like checked bags, refreshments or flight-change fees. Global lounge access. Fee credit for global entry. Offer is good through 6/19/2017. Seems like something worth considering.

I don't see why you can't make a mortgage payment on someone else's behalf. Plastiq provides a "Memo" field where you can provide the mortgagee's name and account number so the payment gets to the right place.
Wow! I will be on the look out for it! ThanksOK. Got home and looked at it. It's a personal card. 100K points after $5000 spend in the first 3 months. Do you remember how long after you paid off the required spend that you got the pass? Hoping to beat the Dec schedule release on May 18th.Just got awarded my southwest companion pass! Thanks for the tips. Now where all to travel

Since you can switch your companion up to 3 times in a calendar year, I would add your college daughter to save on her ticket. If she is unable to go, I would then change to the person who is most likely to remain your companion to prevent having to use another companion change. Can anyone give me advice on what to do about my companion status? We are going on vacation at the end of May, I currently have 4 flights booked as I had enough with my first 50K points to book those. My college daughter is still not sure if she is able to come with us and she is who I do not have tickets for yet. Should I go ahead and declare her my companion? If something happens at the last minute and she can not come, could I switch it to one of the others and get the points back for their flights? Or should I just go ahead and book her ticket with points and declare one of the others my companion? The flights are now higher in price than what I paid for ours, so was hesitant to do this. Any advice?
No need to wait. They will all count towards the CP. You can log onto your account and see the progress towards CP.So it sounds like I can book the points from the personal if they are applied first and then use the business when they become available, and they all still apply toward the CP. I don't need to hold off on using the SW points to have 110K available all at once correct?
You were pre-approved for CSR in the Chase system even if you didn't know it. Pre-approvals overrode 5/24 on CSR for quite a while, though a couple months ago they stopped issuing pre-approvals for that specific card.Discussed with DH today that we may need to start "two player mode" as he is 3/24 and I've been rejected for the CSP ( I'm at 11/24), but approved for the CSR, go figure...
30 days is good. The 7-10 is bad.Which Chase message is the one that means you're probably denied? Is it the 7-10 day one or the 30 day one?
I threw caution to the wind and applied for the Marriott card because they keep sending me emails about the 100k offer. I'm well over 5/24, so I'm not holding out much hope. I got the "we'll let you know within 30 days". Bad sign?
