I actually managed to get to the "pay" site. I have received a confirmation mail for the payment, no waiting (i.e. hoping for) the mail confirming the registration.
I will NEVER complain about the "normal" Rundisney registration process again. Ever.
So I've paid (and received a receipt) for the challenge and the 5k! No confirmation email yet though... :S
Now I just need to sort out my annual leave to make sure I can make it for the run...
Anyway - does anyone have any advice for getting the medical certification? I can probably ask a doctor to sign/write one, but then there's something about translation into French which they almost certainly won't be able to do... How did you all get yours last year?

Last year they had a template, I believe. I printed it and took it to my doctor, explained what I needed and he signed it without any hesitation. He must have made a note in my chart, because at my appointment with him following the race, he asked me if it was a good one.

Anyone who did the kick-off party last year??
My bff and I decided to do it this year, we've worked hard to save for the trip and kindda wanted to do everything
I read a trip report from last year and they were very pleased with it and thougt it was great. They said there was also free food and a lot of great m&g.
Just wanted to hear other experiences from last year
I heard the food was half-frozen for many party guests. If you're looking for all-around value, you might be disappointed.Anyone who did the kick-off party last year??

We did it last year. The meal was an issue, but it gave a bunch of ride time to a limited number of people. It isn't on my list this year. One and done.

Ah, I see. I looked it up, and last year's "inaugural party" started at 7:30, cost 79€, and served dinner. You'll get to test out this new event and tell us about it.Oh well..... this doesn't sound like it was a great experience thanks for your inputs!
But there was food last year, right? I anticipated (almost) walk-on rides, music and lots of great photo oppportunities and free food and drinks (from what I had read about last year). But on my confirmation it says "meal not included", so I'm not sure what to expect. I guess we'll have to wait and see
I really like the 10K medal and the reference to the 25th Anniversary on the 1/2 is a nice touch
Very jealous of those running they look awesome!
