The general sense of entitlement that pervades society.
Then phrase it that way, please. Two other pet peeves I have are when people post, "Sell me on _____", or, "Is _____ worth it?"It's not that we don't google it it's we want to know what other posters think
I have a handful of friends on the board and want their opinion
Another pet peeve I have is redundancy .I don't have a problem with that. Especially since you can withdraw money 24-7 from their ATM machines. Also you can do on-line banking 24-7 (as long as you have internet.) JMHO
I'm not sure what you mean. Then phrase it that way, please. Two other pet peeves I have are when people post, "Sell me on _____", or, "Is _____ worth it?"
The first irritates me because almost nobody here works for whatever venue the person wants to be sold on; there are actual people who work for the companies and have the knowledge and information. Even DIS members whose job it is to know and advise on Disney Resorts - i.e. Dreams Unlimited Agents - usually do that one on one, not in a forum.
The other because, well, everybody has different values and expectations. What's worth "it" to me might not matter to 98% of the population.
Just ask the question/s.

"Sell me on staying at the Poly..."I'm not sure what you mean.
"Sell me on staying at the Poly..."
Or
"Is the Happily Ever After dessert party worth it?"
Questions that generally rely on opinion and personal preferences.
That's how I took that post.
Sorry I was talking about when she said she didn't like redundancy. That was the thing she quoted me as saying."Sell me on staying at the Poly..."
Or
"Is the Happily Ever After dessert party worth it?"

Either that or 24-7. It's no biggie is she doesn't reply.I think that post was referring to "ATM machine."
Automatic Teller Machine Machine
In my job people say "IST team," which means Instructional Support Team Team."

She said it stands for Instructional Support Team.I have never heard of IST
She said it stands for Instructional Support Team.
And another one I can't help but {{eyeroll}} at is: "Has anybody ever gone to, stayed at, eaten, used, etc.??" I'm always tempted to answer: "No, you'll be the first. Be sure to let us know how it goes."Then phrase it that way, please. Two other pet peeves I have are when people post, "Sell me on _____", or, "Is _____ worth it?"

People who stand in front of the elevator's doors and make it hard for you to get off. If you are waiting and see someone needs off, move out of the way! Similarly, people who immediately stop when they get off of an escalator. Happens all of the time at Disney World. If you need to get you bearings, walk a couple steps to the side and then stop. Don't make me crash into you and then act surprised.
also people who stop right at the top of an escaltor they just come to a dead stop or even in doorways dead stop
I'll own this. I have a condition that makes escalators really challenging. I am terrified of them, and actually recently lost my carry on down one (thankfully it was 2am and the airport was empty). Better at going up than down. The only reason I hesitate is to make sure I step in the right place to not fall. My anxiety is increased by angry/annoyed/aggressive people, so if it's a crowded or loud environment sometimes I am too upset and have to get away. Just keep in mind that some people are legitimately trying their best to function but might have invisible issues you don't know about. Believe me, I'm not fond of people and I don't want to be in anyone's way. I opt for stairs when I can, or elevators (but usually afraid I'm being judged as lazy or slow if I do that too.)
