Gringotts and Hogwarts Express Questions

I have 2 questions about USF Wizarding World- First, can you walk through the line for Gringotts to see the "sights" but not ride the ride? Is it a separate line (like in the castle- at least that is how it was when we went 5 years ago) or do you wait in the same line and just exit before the ride if it is even possible?

Second, can you walk between the park's Wizarding Worlds or do you have to take the Hogwarts Express? I guess we are wondering if there is a walkway, rather than walking all the way around or riding the train.

Thanks in advance!

There is no walkway shortcut between the parks. You either take the train OR you walk all the way out of one park and over to the other.

Anyone can go in any line (except the express bc that requires a park to park ticket) then exit.

FJ has/had a walk-through line but you don't have to take it. Just get in the line and ask the TMs where the exit is.

(If going through a metal detector ride you'll have to comply with the no bags policy though)

HE is worth the trip, it's a great ride. Much better than walking between the parks!

Hi I just did Gringotts express and non-express. You can go through the line up till you reach the entrance to the stairs to get to the mine cars. There was someone waiting outside the lift doors to take people with bags up and who were not riding or wheel chair guests.

TRyimg to get my bearings. Is that before or after the vault?

The person is after the vault. You go through the entire queue before you have to leave. About 50 feet from the person is the stairs to load the cars.

Got it. Just making sure you go to the vault and mine. I'd never skip the ride so never paid attention. :)

In February, I was with a friend who didn't want to ride any of the rides. We walked into the standby line just long enough for her to see into the bank. A TM noticed us and offered us a tour only of Gringotts. First time I ever knew that was a thing. The TM said as long as they aren't super over crowded / busy, they allow the tour. They took us through the whole thing even the elevator ride and Bill's office. I was really surprised. I haven't asked since that trip, so no idea if they are still offering this option or not, but if they are, it wouldn't hurt to ask. 1) We didn't need to wait in the slow standby line just to see the queue. 2) like the Hogwarts tour, we could move at our own pace, take our time to really look around, and had time to take pics. I've been through that queue before a few different times, but always to ride. It was fun to get a chance to really take it all in.

When we did it, it was a separate line. Same as touring the castle. However, with EP added, I'm not sure what the situation is now.

Yea I've been wondering how that was working now with the addition of EP to the rides. I'd assumed the seperate line that was used for hte tours was what would become the EP line once it was allowed, so now that it is I'm curious if they will still have the tours or not. Suppose they coudl always still use the EP line for tours jsut have a person at the end to check for the actual pass to let you continue to the ride or show you where to exit if just doing the tour.
