TBS denies Chip Caray’s comment about them denying a 1pm start. It would’ve been hard for fans and park workers as well. Still...

Given how much skipping a 4th starter has changed the complexion of this series, MLB should give more direction to time changes to avoid full day postponements in the future.

While I'm not happy about it, at the end of the day, it's our own bad performance that has put us in this position. We can't hit, and our bullpen is a disaster.

Certainly I am not discounting facts and odds and talent. But stark realism without hope is downright depressing. Same could have been said for NLCS 6 and WS 7 against Kershaw and Kluber. Why be positive.

The thing is you just can't handle the truth, even when it hurts. I'm a fair poster, I post both the good and the bad. But blocking me is cool, if you don't want the hard facts, that's your loss, not mine.

The Roark dodge was huge. Strasburg and Scherzer in 4 of 5 games is obnoxious and a serious argument against the 5 game format. After 6 months, three 7-game series is not unreasonable. Just start them on Wednesday instead of Friday.

I’m more resigned to it all with Tuesday bc it was terrible weather at the end and couldn’t be argued with. Just horrible luck that it fell on their 4th starter’s day.

Was hoping Davis got his big mistakes out of the way in the last week of the regular season. But unfortunately no. CJs bounce back in game 3 was short lived. Couldn’t handle the weather for sure. Maddson struggled too.

Our starters have outperformed my expectations, both sides haven’t hit, and our bullpen has been a bit worse than theirs.

I’m excited for tomorrow, just as a fan. Hendricks (Q in wings) v Scherzer (Gio in wings). Really hoping we put something together offensively and wake the bats up and show what we’re capable of.

Cubs starters have allowed 8 hits for the series. Quite a few lousy a$$ Ump calls changed 2 games now . CJ HAD Lind...Ump blew it. Missed check swing today turns into a run on Addie's error. CJ not in top form today but stellar the day before and kept us in it to get the W. Today, one of his walks again, Ump squeezing. Weather robbed Addie of that go ahead bomb. Wet dirt robbed Zobie of turning that double into a triple or he'd have been in on Addie's hit. Javy GIDP w/JHey on was brutal. I'm not so sure Davis had enough warm up time. Maybe he did...we'll never know. The guys have to get mad...they know they are better offensively than they have been and no room for sloppy play (tho given today's conditions it could have been far worse) keep bringing the positivity and optimism~ Toxic negativity has never helped any team win any game.

I have not but honestly..Dusty is the Reaper of pitcher's arms and want's to knock the Cubs out more than he wants to have a chance against LA so seeing Max announced isn't gonna surprise me one bit

the wind was sorta swirly for Taylors GS. I had just said that I wasn't too comfy having Happ switched in for JHey and BAM...Ian tracking all over but that ball lifted just enough to land in the basket. What can you do? Rizzo had on in game 1 that just made it over (the Fan Grab one)Game of inches. We beat Strasburg...we lost to Strasburg . The guy is stellar and we're.500 against him. Not bad

Sorry but that's just too many excuses. Blaming the umps for our current predicament is absurd.

Scherzer was in the pen for todays game so at a minimum he will come in tomorrow, by the 4th , much sooner if we are hitting off of Gio(I am guessing Gio..no official word)

Home teams dominated early games of these rounds... now away teams. Yankees up 5-2 in the 9th.

Cubs need to find that balance that lets us dictate at the plate (or however Maddon puts it). We chased a lot of 3rd strikes tonight even on the 3rd time through. Strasburg was that good though. His change-ups looked too good not to swing at.

A win tomorrow is what we need to be able to do if we expect to compete in the next 2 rounds. Never quit.
