Our First Park Day!
I couldn't sleep, too excited, or maybe nervous about the storm, I was checking the reports as soon as they were being released. At this point we still seemed to have a chance that Irma wouldn't be a problem, so we went about our plans as usual. I got up, and fully ready, woke DH, and tried to wake DD. Boy, is she not a morning person at all! Good thing our buddy Goofy called, cause she woke right up for him!
We made our way downstairs, grabbed some caffeine and hit the boat! Since it was about an hour before park opening the boat to MK wasn't running yet, but the boat to Contemporary was up and running! It did, however take an eternity!

We got to Contemporary at about 8:27 AM, we chose to walk to MK. It was nice going through the little private security area on the side walk, much less painful than the previous arrangement.
By the time we got into the park and up Main Street the Castle Show was just starting. It's a cute show, and E loved seeing all the characters, but it pales in comparison to the show at the train station. Once they dropped the ropes we walked, as quickly as possible to the stroller parking by the fancy Rapunzel bathrooms. Stroller parked we hit Peter Pan, but it was down. Fine. We booked it over to Pooh Bear and walked on. Elora loved the ride, as she had in March. Pooh was her first Disney love.
I checked the TP app to see how Peter was doing. I really wanted to do as much as possible this morning, Irma was weighing heavily on my mind and I feared we’d lose park time. Pan was up so we went back that way. Posted wait time was 20 minutes, but it felt more like 10 or so. We LOVED the additions to the queue! The bedroom is adorable, and the little surprises were wonderful; I don't wanna share too much as I had no idea about them and was so pleasantly surprised.
Man, Elora LOVED this ride. She was basically trying to stand up the entire 49 seconds we flew through Neverland. Once we were back in MK we crossed the walkway to my favorite, Elora’s too, Small World! I won't post photos, cause you've all seen it. Funny thing; E calls this ride Disney World. She associates that silly ride with Disney World. My poor husband hates it, and we rode it like 100 times, lol!
After Small World we crossed Fantasyland again for our fastpass to meet some Princesses.

As chatty as Elora is, she clams up with the characters. I feel like she's just so in awe of them she can't find the words. She also kept sitting down with them when they would sit down to talk to her. It was adorable. Both meets were great, lots of hugs and smiles really very cute.
DH wanted to get in line to meet Cindy and Elena, but the posted wait was 45 minutes, not happening. We decided to grab the stroller and get some food, it was almost 11 AM. I suggested we do the Harbor House so we headed that way, but not before a ride on the Carousel! Another of E’s faves. She named our horses Melon (mine) and Strawberry.

We mosied over to Harbour House, but guess what, they don't open until 11:30! I had no idea, and it's listed as being available at 11 on Touring Plans… oh well! Guido needed a DSA, so he went off into Adventureland and I took Elora out towards the castle to catch the first castle show.
She was a little grumpy, hanger I suppose. We'd had some protein bars and milk for breakfast but we all clearly needed food. The show was super cute, and entertaining. Three of my favorite princess and Mickey Mouse? I was happy, as was E! She stayed put for most of the show, then as she was losing interest, Elsa made snow from her hand and Elora went bonkers. She kept asking me “Did you see that?!” It was hoot.
Show ended, and Guido met us near Sleepy Hollow. It was just after 11:30 AM by then so we went back to Harbour House. Guido was clearly about done. Idk if it was heat, hunger or stress from his new deadlines, but he was not happy. I sent him to find a seat with Elora and went for food. I ordered the Sampler platter and the kids nuggets for us to share. As well as two cokes, and a milk for Elora. It was honestly the perfect amount of food. We sat for a while, the dining area was still quiet, so we just enjoyed the AC, and chatted a bit.
Being right there we decided to jump in line for Haunted Mansion; posted wait was only 15 minutes. When we visited MK in March DD hated this ride. But in recent months she's been obsessed with the Haunted Mansion movie starring Eddy Murphy…?? so I was hoping this would be a better experience, and it was! She loved the stuff in the queue and the ride, especially Madame Liota.
When we got off the ride, it was pouring! Like torrential downpour. And get this, these jerk people were standing under the awnings just outside the ride exit, not moving, and blocking the exit. This one family literally just stood there, shaking their heads no when a cast member came up to them and asked them to move along as “this isn't a rain shelter.” I said something to them, cause I couldn't help myself. I said, what if someone gets stuck on that moving walk way and gets hurt cause you're blocking the exit? I got the same response as the CM. I was seriously enraged, I mean it's rain! You'll dry. Any who!
