I would also start a chat with Member Services and put your request on there too! It took all of 5 minutes (I requested near oasis pool) and they'll be as specific as you want to be as well
Sounds like plan!!! THANKS!!!

Can it be March now? Even though it seems like nobody actually likes the Poly and housekeeping is terrible, and the lobby is too crowded.... haha
We've stayed at the Poly 5 times and we have never had problems with housekeeping. The only time I saw the lobby uncomfortably crowded was one night when it was pouring down rain and it was check in time for the Luau, so there were just TONS of people milling around in there trying to stay out of the rain.

Enjoy your trip.

Does anyone know what kind of coffee pots are currently in the poly studios? Seems I read recently that some of the resorts were getting keurig coffee pots.

Thanks! Hope I don't slip up on saying Poly! We've even added the Poly address but with a label of Saratoga in our GPS lol.

It's going to be a great surprise! Have fun :goodvibes.

One month until we arrive. We got our DME luggage tags yesterday and I was super stoked to see our names and Polynesian on them. Magic Bands shipped today as well. It's getting close now!

Our travel agent put in our only request which was for a king-size bed, so I'm hopeful that comes through, but we'll be happy to be there no matter what.

The month will go by fast and you will be checking into the Poly before you know it! :yay:

So I'm officially booked for everything for my Daughters Sweet 16 trip to Disney in January. Our 1st stay at Poly and any resort on the Monorail. I'm just waiting to find out when the January people arrive so I can know what the difference is between views are. I booked a Standard view. Hopefully my Daughter will enjoy the experience.

Have a great trip :wizard:.

Hey guys! I just booked my 1st stay at Poly for July! I’m looking forward to finally staying there and look forward to planning together!

Congrats on booking your first Poly stay! Enjoy the planning :goodvibes.

That “magic” time when the first Luau show has let out, the Monorail line can stretch back almost to Ohana upstairs. Downstairs, the 2nd Luau group winds around to the checkin desks. This is the only time I’ve seen the lobby overcrowded. You’d think there would be a better way to handle the Luau.

Back from my first Poly and Bungalow stay, Firstly i must say the vibe at the poly is unique and can only be experienced at the poly, the setting was amazing, and the bungalow room was very expansive, pretty, and really felt like a private paradise.

The only down side with the Bungalow is that it doesn't include access into the Club level lounge, which when you're paying more than 4 times a night than the club level rooms is the least they could do.

Next visit I'm hoping to stay at the Poly again with a Club level room (Bungalows where amazing, but a once in a lifetime thing, very expensive) or the other two Resorts on the monorail with a club level room.

Glad you had a nice stay and enjoyed the bungalow. Have fun planning your next trip :wizard:.

If you have a PPO at Epcot, plan to drive there as well.

Last week we had a PPO at Epcot and we took the monorail. We walked to TTC around 7:10. The sign said the monorail to Epcot would start running at 7:30, but it was already running. We were the only ones on it. Even if we had needed to wait until 7:30 we still would have made the 8 AM reservation. They don't let you in the gate until 7:45. Just sharing my experience, I realize it could be different each time.

What time does the Luau let out? I might like to avoid the lobby during those times.

Thanks!

That’s great to hear, and I wonder if the extended hours are due to the holiday season? When we were there over the summer, the monorail to Epcot did not start running until 8 AM.

According to Disney's site:

The Epcot Monorail and the Express Monorail originate at the TTC and offer express round-trip service to Epcot and Magic Kingdom park. The Walt Disney WorldMonorail System operates from 30 minutes prior to earliest park opening until onehour after latest park closing.

It's always a good idea to eyeball the Times Guide for MK and monorail hours for the week you are there. Monorail hours can change/evolve over time, so the current Times Guide is critical. This site posts it (usually) weekly as well and is a handy bookmark: http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/p/weekly-walt-disney-world-times-guides.html

Hard copies are available in the lobby.

As you can see, this week the Epcot line starts every day at 7:30AM.
