Where are we, Jersey? Bye, Phoenicians! An August 2017 TR * NEW DINING/TR LINKS*

Behind them there was a guy in his mid to late 50's and he was talking to them, and talking to them and talking to them. Loudly. Mostly to the woman (mom) and he kept putting his hand on her shoulder and like, spinning her around to get her to listen to him. I assumed the were together but Cathy said no. Behind this guy were two young kids who looked 16 but must have been at least 21 (we find out later they are his son and son's gf). So 50's guy is getting louder and louder and it's obvious he's been on the La Cava line a few times :rolleyes1 and the couple in front of him, whom I still think are with him, are annoyed. Well all of a sudden he spins the GUY (dad) around and plants one on this man's lips! OK. Are they together :confused3
Then 5 minutes later he puts both hands on the mom's shoulders, turns her half way around and kisses her cheek loud and long. The dad-guy looks PISSED and I realize Cathy is correct and they are not together.

...oh my gosh!!!

Within I swear, 30 seconds 50's man is at the bar starting a fight with a guy in his 20's wearing full on Eagles gear about how bad the Eagles suck (this was 2 nights before the Super Bowl). And in the next 30 seconds 50's man said "bulls*#$" about 10 times SO loud. So over comes the tiny manager lady, taps him on the shoulder, and tells him he has to leave. He does not listen. The manager then attempts to tell his son/son's gf that they need to leave but they begin to yell at her asking why and saying it's discrimination. Maybe age-ism? I don't know, he was a total white man from middle America from the sound of it so not sure what they were getting at. Discriminating against drunks acting like a-holes, yes definitely. 50's man then turns around and starts arguing with the manager, another small female CM hostess has now come over. The manager is really keeping her cool while we're all looking on and all of a sudden- OMG I still can't believe he did this - 50's man TAKES HIS FINGER, AND POKES THE MANAGER IN THE FOREHEAD. RIGHT ON THE FOREHEAD. Like pushes her back almost. Holy crap Cathy and I both did a deep unbelieving inhale, one of the male bartenders came from around the bar and then these 3 walked out. But, but then the manager starts yelling at 50's man to come back because he needed to wait for security to escort him out of the park, what???

...wait...what!?! I was shocked there could possibly be more!! This is wild.

Mmm, the Avocado Margarita:

Avocado
Tequila, melon liqueur, fresh avocado, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice, served frozen with a hibiscus salt rim

Yummmmmm

A quick stop in Germany for Karemell Kuche was made where I got a dark chocolate sea salt square and Cathy got something I can't remember, because I was too busy loving my dark chocolate sea salt square.

Mmmm...yummm again...

The wait said 35 which is still longer than I care to wait for FEA but I knew it couldn't really be that long and it wasn't. We were on in 13 minutes.

Nice!!

Would we make it? Would Cathy lose her patience with me? Would she end up poking me in the head and telling me to move towards the door?

cathytot-jpg.304047

She liked it! Maybe not as much as the guy in the red shirt, but she liked it :rotfl2:

Oh my gosh the guy in the red shirt!!! :rotfl: Glad Cathy liked it though!

HS isn't known for great QS options. However we had dinner plans and so we didn't want to fill up. I let Cathy pick where we ate and she picked Backlot Express. I don't think I'd eaten there since the boys were small!
We both went with a kids meal but probably the most interesting kids meal on the menu:

We did Backlot Express on our last trip and it was a good choice! I think it'll probably be our go-to now, because I'm not feeling the new menu at ABC Commissary where I used to go...

It was on a construction wall and shows the path of the Gondolas. Which I will never be riding, FYI.

Oh really!? I figured if you were such a TOT fan, you'd have no concerns about other experiences at towering heights like the gondolas. I'm not sure if I'll be able to convince myself to ride them or not.

But wait - have I mentioned that in July I'm going to become...........

A GRANDMA?? :cheer2::cheer2:

And you know what the best part is? It's a princess:

WOW! YAY! CONGRATS! I'm so excited for you guys!

Steve's already decided he wants to be Pops :goodvibes

Aww I like it!

When Chris found out he went to school and told all his friends to start calling him Uncle Chris lol.

 Chris is great! He'll be a fun uncle.

I felt so proud showing her all the alcohol :thumbsup2

You know where the good stuff is.

Cathy had been eyeing the chicken dish but the fact that it was on the bone was holding her back. She asked Gorge if by any chance she could get it OFF the bone and he said, why certainly! So here is Tiffins chicken entrée, minus the bone-

Oh, I hadn't even thought to ask something like this! I got the chicken last time, and it was very good, but I think it would have been even happier without the bone.

Love Tiffins! Glad you had good meals here!

but when we got to FOP the standby sign was dark and THEY WEREN'T LETTING ANYONE IN ANYMORE :headache: :furious: It was NOT 8:00 yet. OMG Cathy was pissed. She went up and said, "but it's not 8:00!" But the CM said sorry, closed. Other people were asking to go in including some with FP's from 7-8 and they were denied, too. We stood off to the side and watched for a couple minutes but the only ones that were let in were a party of 4 adults who apparently had gotten off the SB line to use the bathroom and were told they'd be allowed back in. They got loud and obnoxious with the CM which I think is why they were let in. Poke in the forehead, anyone?
Oh well, I was fine with not riding but Cathy was mad.

This is so frustrating!! If the park wasn't closed yet, they should have let you in. But I've heard of that happening with FOP sometimes, and that people were recommending getting there 15-20 minutes before close just in case this happened, etc. So disappointing for Cathy!

So my roommate this time around was an agent pretty new to our agency, a 23 year old from Indiana who seemed very sweet and looked like a cute little Barbie doll. Just what this 40 something year old with a birthday right around the corner needed!

:rotfl:

A GRANDMA?? :cheer2::cheer2:

YAY!! I just became one a short 3 months ago as well, and it's pretty great! :) Huge congrats to you!

She loved this also and we sipped these as we checked out the 300 minute FOP wait time

:scared1:

Yes, the ridiculous 5 and 6 hour wait times for this. With tough-to-get FP's as well. Boo!

They said it would only be a few minutes wait, and since our dinner was at TIFFINS we took a seat at the bar in Nomad Lounge.

My favorite places in all of WDW now. LOVE them!!

I'd have been very mad too at not letting people on anymore if it'd still been before 8:00. With the high demand you'd think they'd eek out every last minute and then some. Don't get it. :(

Congratulations on becoming a Grandma
Having grandchildren is the best so happy you’re getting a granddaughter to spoil princess:
Glad you and Cathy got to spend time in Disney
I can’t believe you got stopped at FOP
You did manage to pack a lot in though
Looking forward to your Universal updates

OMG! Congratulations! Such happy news and so exciting that it's a little girl  I'm so happy for you and your family :D
Thank you so much  We've actually known since Christmas but she had some trouble in the beginning so we didn't say anything; now all is well!!!!
Happy Birthday!
:thanks: again :goodvibes

Congrats! (Although you are way too young to be grandma!)
I swore I told you!!! Ad yes, of course I am lol

I also had that, and mine wasn't that good. The feta was really overpowering, but it looks like since they took it off the menu and put it back on they changed the cheese.
yup. I do like feta but I don't think it would have fit right in this dish?

You got the same meal I did last May :rotfl:
Great minds think alike :thumbsup2

Sounds like rope drop time to me!
 I'm going to be calling you bright and early in August to make sure you're up for RD!

Yikes!!!! Are the creepy creepers still bothering your travel Agency?
no, but since I haven't written anything about an agency trip since THAT time  I wanted to CMA........

I'm not sure I've ever seen someone so happy on that ride? I had to zoom in because I wasn't sure which one was even you, I hadn't seen a smile that big in a while
That's me :D my Disney smile lol

BTW Casey says she is finally riding in August. We'll see how that goes....
OOHH, if she goes through with it I want to ride with her!! And maybe if a 7 year old girl is on it, Chris will ride again :rotfl2:

So excited for you!
:cheer2: With my luck she'll end up enjoying shopping as much as you do..................

You should totally add alcohol tours to your list of travel services!
OMG imagine the commission I could make on them :drinking1

We didn't do Tiffins on our last trip, but you know I'm gonna have to try this!
What I love about them is it's an app you can't get anywhere else on property, at least as far as I know

Can you believe we've never had dessert at Tiffins? We've always been too full for it. Will have to change that too!
This, quite frankly, is blasphemy :snooty: I seriously expect you to remedy this in 5 months!

YAY!! I just became one a short 3 months ago as well, and it's pretty great! :) Huge congrats to you!
Thank you and congrats to you also! Do you have a granddaughter or grandson?

Yes, the ridiculous 5 and 6 hour wait times for this. With tough-to-get FP's as well. Boo!
I know, and I'm wondering if the waits and FP demand will go down at all once TSL opens :scratchin Actually this last month I haven't had as much trouble getting FOP FP's for clients as I normally do but it still isn't easy and there aren't many times to choose from.

Congratulations on becoming a Grandma
:thanks: I did see your text and I started answering like 3x but kept getting interrupted!

Glad you and Cathy got to spend time in Disney
Yes, I'm really glad it worked out that way :)

Omigoodness, how could I skip over @MeghanEmily ??

...wait...what!?! I was shocked there could possibly be more!! This is wild.
It was seriously unbelievable and I was shocked it was happening. Mostly shocked security wasn't called sooner :sad2: But you know, they have their protocol.......it should change though!

We did Backlot Express on our last trip and it was a good choice! I think it'll probably be our go-to now, because I'm not feeling the new menu at ABC Commissary where I used to go...
If we find ourselves in HS later this month and needing to eat, this is where we'll head. And off the top of MY head I think it's going to happen lol.

Oh really!? I figured if you were such a TOT fan, you'd have no concerns about other experiences at towering heights like the gondolas. I'm not sure if I'll be able to convince myself to ride them or not.
Yeah but, TOT is in the DARK first of all, it's quick... and oddly enough I can't do thinks like ferris wheels. I can't do spinny like tea cups or slow high in the sky. Fast, upside down high in the sky? No problem. But the idea of hanging so high above the ground by one cable and going soooooo slow, freaks me out :scared: Plus no air conditioning which is just stupid!

WOW! YAY! CONGRATS! I'm so excited for you guys!
Thank you!!! I cannot WAIT!

 Chris is great! He'll be a fun uncle.
He will :goodvibes

Omigoodness, how could I skip over @MeghanEmily ??

Too fab to be skipped!

I guess this kind of makes sense. When it's fast, it's over before you can even really think about how high you are. And the no air conditioning thing is gonna be an issue, especially for summer guests. Yeah...I'm not sure I'll get on them either...

Congratulations on grandma status! Wow how exciting for your family.

I really like the borders Disney is now doing for the ride photos, adds a nice touch.

It was really crowded on our trip also but the weather was so awesome we didn’t mind so much.

So I'm sitting here waiting for Ricky to get home. He's at the gym, and I'm happy to report that just shy of 4 months since surgery, Thursday is his last day of physical therapy :cheer2::banana: WHOO!! I can't believe it! It feels so weird since we've been going to p/t 2 to 3x a week since the beginning of October. We saw the surgeon yesterday and he agrees with Ricky's therapist that he's ready to move on to a sports-specific program at a sports training facility by us :cool1:. Athletes go there just to work on their strength/skills/agility, but they also offer specific rehab programs for basketball, soccer, and football players. He's also "upping" his running when at the gym from 2 miles to however long he can go, and he has the ok to do any leg exercises as long as he doesn't have a weight directly in front of his left knee. The surgeon just kept saying "fabulous" and "awesome" when he was checking Ricky out and watching him do exercises, and he said while there are some kids he worries about he's not worried at all about Ricky :thumbsup2 It's a great feeling!

In other news, we lost power Friday morning through late Saturday afternoon because of a rather huge snowstorm we had. There are still lots of people here without power and tomorrow we're supposed to get hit with another Nor'easter......I got the text about 3 hours ago that they cancelled school for tomorrow. I'm fine with that, as long as my power stays on!

DAY 1 PART ONE
VOLCANO BAY AND THE SUPER BOWL

We woke up on our last Disney day and had to try cramming the crap we'd bought at the outlets into the skimpy amount of luggage we'd brought. Once we managed that we took it over to bell services to hold while we grabbed breakfast at Pepper Market. I won't bore you with breakfast platter pictures but I will show you this:

IMG_7983.JPG

Because we all need Mickey Waffles every day! After we ate we took a final stroll through Panchitos gift shop where they were just starting to fill the pastry case, so I took a picture of these cute PB Cups:

IMG_7984.JPG

And then, since this was Cathy's first time ever at CSR and we hadn't yet walked around the resort, we did just that:

IMG_7985.JPG

IMG_7986.JPG

I posted quite a few pictures of the Pyramid pool after Steve and I stayed last Nov. but this time, Cathy and I walked up the Jaguar slide for some different pictures:

IMG_7989.JPG

IMG_7990.JPG

This has been my boys' favorite slide in all the resorts we've stayed at, including Stormalong Bay as odd as that sounds!

Oh and here's a picture of the tower they're building:

IMG_7981.JPG

Yeah, it's not attractive right now. I took this on our walk from Casitas to El Centro. I don't actually think it looks horrific by any means but if you're completely adverse to seeing any construction at all at your resort, you won't like CSR right now.

We needed to check in at our Universal resort, Sapphire Falls, by 12:45 and then be in the training room by 1:00. We were thinking we might grab something to eat before 1:00 also, so we said good-bye to Disney around 11:00 and Ubered over to US (I feel so YOUNG and vibrant saying I Ubered!!!) Sadly I fail you here. I did not take any pictures of SF when we arrived as I was too busy checking in, and meeting all the other agents. There were 70 of us in total from my agency and other than Cathy and my roommate from last year, Pam, I knew nobody.

Our rooms weren't ready yet so after we checked in - which took awhile because in between the 70 of us were "regular" guests and the staff there weren't the quickest - we strolled around inside and out. We also checked our luggage with Bell Services. Our meeting was over at Cabana Bay and they provided a bus for us even though it was across the street, so we hopped on that and were there in a matter of minutes. Instead of getting something to eat I ate an energy bar I brought.

Once in our meeting, Cathy and I met our agency owner for the first time and we were divided up into groups. Sadly I wasn't with Cathy and Pam who were rooming together this trip since I signed up late, but I did meet my roommate Barbie/Traci. She was very sweet and as I said, 23.

I will not bore you with too many details except to say I failed you all again. Our first order of business was touring Volcano Bay, and as much as I detest water parks I was looking forward to this.

UNTIL IT STARTED POURING
And this I was NOT happy about at all. As we walked over it begun to pour. POUR! We had gotten a poncho in our Universal backpacks we were given so I put that on and it promptly ripped right up the middle. Now I have to hold it together in front. I also have a big, ugly, non Disney Dooney & Bourke purse since we weren't allowed to have anything Disney there that I'm trying to keep dry since it only had a snap closure. Then on top of that, I have the big clunky Universal backpack that I put my jacket in, because even though it was raining it was muggy with the poncho on. I didn't think the backpack was waterproof so I'm holding the poncho together and trying to keep both bags under it :furious: Needless to say I took zero pics. I KNOW! I'm mad at me, too!

All I'll say is, if you like water parks you'll love Volcano Bay :D They hadn't closed it since there was no lightning or thunder but man, did the park empty out! I'll also say this, someone had an attitude because she does not like being out in the rain. I knew we had a full night ahead and I didn't want afro hair. No offense to anyone with an afro, but it doesn't look good on me.

Finally they let us go inside where it was dry and see our rooms! Now we had a couple hours free park time, again in the rain. I met up with Cathy and Pam and we caught the bus over to Universal Studios where our first ride was a "first" for all of us: Race Through NY with Jimmy Fallon.

Here's a shot of the pre-show:

IMG_7993.JPG

Like many of Universal's rides this is 3D, which I don't particularly care for. The parts I had my eyes open for looked neat, but the 3 of us all felt it wasn't that great.

On to a snack! Still pouring we needed something we could eat quick and with one hand while we held our hoods on our heads since the wind was blowing so hard. Cathy and Pam chose soft pretzels while I got this:

IMG_7994.JPG

:rotfl2::rotfl: I think it's a funny picture. But it IS a churro! And it was ok, did the job of holding me over until our group dinner.

We stood under an overhang and ate, trying to decide what to do. We were really just so miserable in the drenching rain that we decided to head over to the restaurant where our dinner was and get a drink while we waited, as it was only 4:20 and dinner was at 5. Oh and let me explain here: after dinner we were supposed to ride the floats in the Mardi Gras parade like Pam, Cathy and I did last year. We had SO much fun! Unfortunately they cancelled the parade due to the rain.
So our dinner was going to be Mardi Gras themed and was being held at Lombard's Seafood Grille. We walked in and explained to the hostess that were with the travel agency and we knew we were early and were just going to sit at the bar. She looked at us like we had two heads and explained

:scared1: THERE WAS NO BAR :faint:

Um, what?
So we sat outside on the deck watching the rain for about 30 minutes.
The dinner was not good and the rest of our time in the park was uneventful, so I'm going to skip to when we got back to Sapphire Falls :goodvibes

This was Super Bowl Sunday, and we got back to the resort around 7:00. Tons of agents were going to meet in the bar in the lobby, Strong Water Tavern. Besides the bar there was a big seating area and LARGE screen TV in the lobby right outside the bar, and after we all ran to our rooms Traci and I walked down to the bar for a drink.
I didn't like what I got. I was hanging with some new peeps as the half time show came on, texting Cathy to see where the were. Pam was feeding her Universal shopping addiction in the resort shop so I walked over, saw them through the window, tapped on it and held up my drink. Cathy came out, tasted my drink and agreed it sucked. We all went over to the bar and decided 1. the drink menu was icky and 2. it was too crowded, so we walked downstairs to check out the restaurant where we'd all be having breakfast: Amatista Cookhouse but not before I informed the bartender I didn't like my drink and traded it in for a good, old-fashioned glass of Prosecco.

Well. The drink menu at the Amatista bar was awesome. And it was barely crowded! There were a decent amount of people eating dinner at tables but of the 8 barstools only 2 were taken. The bartender Jose was great and this wasn't the only time we'd grace him with our presence :P
Since I had my Prosecco, Pam and Cathy got this:

Havana Colada
Bacardi 8 yr, Cream of Coconut, Pineapple Puree, Myer's Dark Rum Float

IMG_7996.JPG

This was delicious and I know, because I got me one as soon as the last drop of Prosecco was down my throat.
And see that plate next to the drink? That was.........

OOPS! OUT OF ROOM FOR PICTURES! CONTINUED IN NEXT POST

I'm back! So what was on the plate!

Queso Fundido

Chorizo Sausage, Artichoke, Mozzarella and Provolone Cheese, Roasted Poblano

IMG_7995.JPG

It may not look that appetizing but it was mmm, mmm good! The chips were salty and crunchy and the cheese was.....cheesy. It was the right amount of cheese and spice mixed together and perfect for drinking while watching the Super Bowl, which I might add I didn't care one bit about.

At one point I did something pretty cool work-wise so Pam got us these:

IMG_7999.JPG

Which were Lemon Drop shots. Then she got us some more......and eventually we all made it back to our rooms! My roommate had been hanging in the lobby and came to the room about 15 minutes after I did. She showered and went to sleep with her hair wet; when she got up in the morning she tossed her head around a couple times and her hair looked like she'd just left the salon :sad2: Anyway, while the early part of the day was a dud, Cathy, Pam and I ended it on the right notes. And I give the bar at Amatista and Jose :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

UP NEXT: DAY 2 PART ONE:
RESORT TOURS! MORE PICTURES THAN ANY OF YOU COULD WANT TO SEE!

Thursday is his last day of physical therapy :cheer2::banana: WHOO!!
YAY!!!!!!!

The surgeon just kept saying "fabulous" and "awesome" when he was checking Ricky out and watching him do exercises, and he said while there are some kids he worries about he's not worried at all about Ricky :thumbsup2 It's a great feeling!
This is such awesome, news! I'm so happy for you guys!

Because we all need Mickey Waffles every day!
::yes::

Unfortunately they cancelled the parade due to the rain.
Oh, no :sad1:

:scared1: THERE WAS NO BAR :faint:
What?! :sad2: Well at least you all rectified that later ;)

Ugh...sorry about all the rain. Stupid Florida. And the sucky food...man was hoping this time would be better. Glad you made the best of it anyway.

He's at the gym, and I'm happy to report that just shy of 4 months since surgery, Thursday is his last day of physical therapy :cheer2::banana: WHOO!!

Awesome news! That seemed to go by fast. For me! I'm sure it didn't seem that way for you all!

Ugh! We are having the same crap here. Thank goodness we didn't lose power, though a lot of people in town did. We are lucky enough to live in the one are with underground wires so we don't lose power as frequently :-)

I will not bore you with too many details except to say I failed you all again. Our first order of business was touring Volcano Bay, and as much as I detest water parks I was looking forward to this.

UNTIL IT STARTED POURING

Oh, bummer!

I also have a big, ugly, non Disney Dooney & Bourke purse since we weren't allowed to have anything Disney there that I'm trying to keep dry since it only had a snap closure. Sounds like you had your hands full

we caught the bus over to Universal Studios where our first ride was a "first" for all of us: Race Through NY with Jimmy Fallon.

I totally forgot to ride this in October :confused3 Guess I didn't miss much.

Cathy and Pam chose soft pretzels while I got this:

img_7994-jpg.307247

:rotfl2::rotfl: I think it's a funny picture. But it IS a churro!

:rotfl:I was laughing at that pic even before I saw you were laughing! It does look ridiculous!

I'm happy to report that just shy of 4 months since surgery, Thursday is his last day of physical therapy :cheer2::banana: WHOO!! I can't believe it! We saw the surgeon yesterday and he agrees with Ricky's therapist that he's ready to move on to a sports-specific program at a sports training facility by us :cool1:.

This is awesome!! I'm so happy for Ricky! He must be putting in a lot of hard work to have made such a great recovery in such good time.

Uggh, gross!! We're supposed to get that system and/or another one next to it tonight into tomorrow, and neighbouring areas are supposed to get dumped on, but it looks like it may hopefully change over to rain at some point here. I'm done with snow at this point. I'm just worried snow may not be done with me. I hope you keep your power!!

Because we all need Mickey Waffles every day!

::yes:: :thumbsup2

Oh no! Ewwww!! That sounds awful! I'd hate to be touring somewhere that's mostly all outdoors in the pouring rain. I guess Florida weather is nothing if not unpredictable.

img_7994-jpg.307247

:rotfl2::rotfl: I think it's a funny picture. But it IS a churro!

:rotfl: Yum! I'm sure you weren't long getting that in your mouth!! ...teheh....

Oh and let me explain here: after dinner we were supposed to ride the floats in the Mardi Gras parade like Pam, Cathy and I did last year. We had SO much fun! Unfortunately they cancelled the parade due to the rain.

Oh no! I was so looking forward to hearing about the parade again!! This must have been disappointing! But at least you'd done it before so you knew what it was like. The newbies didn't even know what they were missing. :sad2:

She looked at us like we had two heads and explained

:scared1: THERE WAS NO BAR :faint:

Um, what?

 Who thought up that terrible idea!!??

My roommate had been hanging in the lobby and came to the room about 15 minutes after I did. She showered and went to sleep with her hair wet; when she got up in the morning she tossed her head around a couple times and her hair looked like she'd just left the salon :sad2:

:rotfl:

I know people in my school program like this. And we're all about that age, too. They infuriate me. The worst part is that, typically, they're also super nice. Ugh.

And you know what the best part is? It's a princess:
After all my boys I'm finally getting a little girl to dress in Princess dresses and buy princess toys, I cannot wait! Now I just need to decide what I'm going to be called :scratchin Steve's already decided he wants to be Pops :goodvibes
Congratulations! You will make a fantastic Grandma, or whatever your name will be. ;) It is especially sweet to finally have a little girl in your family, although baby boys are cute, too. ;)

That's just mine but Cathy got one also, and just like the Avocado margarita and Pear cider from the night before this was a first for her. I felt so proud showing her all the alcohol :thumbsup2
That drink looks delicious, in spite of those crazy little balls. Your Sangria at Tiffins looks good, too.

Tiffins Signature Bread Service :
Tadka, Smoked Babka Ghanoush, Blatjang
The name of the sauces would scare me off, but I bet they tasted very good.

but when we got to FOP the standby sign was dark and THEY WEREN'T LETTING ANYONE IN ANYMORE :headache: :furious: It was NOT 8:00 yet. OMG Cathy was pissed.
Poor Cathy. I've never heard of them closing a line early.

just shy of 4 months since surgery, Thursday is his last day of physical
therapy
I'm very happy for Ricky. I forgot what sports he participates in, but will he be able to do any summer sports?

Your Universal day seems to be a lot less exciting than a day at Disney - just sayin'. :)

We just got back from a four night stay at the Wilderness Lodge. We have always loved that resort, but we love it even more now. It was our first time staying there since they opened the new villas pool and the remodeled Roaring Forks. We loved that new pool. We had a great time. We kept meeting people from Philadelphia when we were at Geyser Point. It was a funny coincidence. We also saw several groups of mostly women who were touring the lodge. I thought they might be travel agents or something similar because they were dressed up a bit.

The surgeon just kept saying "fabulous" and "awesome" when he was checking Ricky out
All the words you want your doctor to say! Fantastic news!!!

There are still lots of people here without power and tomorrow we're supposed to get hit with another Nor'easter......I got the text about 3 hours ago that they cancelled school for tomorrow. I'm fine with that, as long as my power stays on!
How are you fairing so far? It started snowing here about 1:00 and it coming down in HUGE Fat snowflakes!

Is the Jaquar spitting water at the slide? Fun!

My girls went swiming in that rain! I sat under an umberella and a had a drink while they did that! And then I meanly forced my family to Disney Springs for dinner in taht rain! Good times was had by all!

That looks AMAZING!

That is so awesome for Ricky! I am sure you all are so happy with his outcome.

I have heard many just meh reviews on the Jimmy Fallon ride, Andi and I are going for one day in April to USO, do you think we should skip or try since we haven’t done it yet?

Glad you found a good bar area to spend your evening! I’m with you on water parks, look great just not for me.
Sorry you had to deal with rain, no fun Touring when it is pouring.

How nice for Barbie to just shake her head in the morning and have great hair, ahh The twenties such great years!

Nothing says ending the day on a high note like a couple drinks at a great bar!!!
Happy Anniversary too!!!!! I remembered, because it's Joe's 50th bday today too!!!!! CHEERS!
