Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Dee, you're so funny..the creepy adults without kids on the Pirate cruise! LOL

We're doing the Eastern on the Fantasy again (although last year it got changed to Western) Fingers crossed this hurricane season is better than last year!!!
Last year we got off and you got on!

We are staying at Beach Club with my in-laws in May. We have a 1.5 year old and have a Pool Lagoon view room with Meal Plan. I think I may want to switch to a one bedroom suite because of naps, bed time, etc. Does anyone know how much more this will cost? Our in-laws have paid for the trip, but I'd like to pay for the upgrade. I'm very excited to use the Dining Plan for the first time! Any help you could provide would be appreciated, Thank you!!

Since there are so many variables, I suggest calling Disney to ask. Disney Resort Reservations can be reached at (407) 939-5277.

Several promotions might be available, depending upon the dates you are booked.

Hi

Looking for some advice.

We are looking to book for summer 19 in a few weeks when UK free dining is released. We have stayed at the YC a few years ago and loved it but thinking of booking the BC, garden view, this time. I've read some negative comments about soundproofing issues at the YC due to the wooden floor and Dh has allergies so a little concerned with the dogs in rooms.
Is the only negative of the beach club the potential of a standing balcony? We could live with this if we had a nice garden rather than woods view.

With the refurbs is it still just a matter of taste or are the rooms at one resort superior now? It is looking like both resorts will be the same price.

Thanks for any advice.

Just picturesque, I believe...

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list we keep on Page 1, Post 15.

No, there is no way to book/guarantee a room with a king bed. There aren't a lot at the Beach Club or Yacht Club. Best thing to do is follow the advice offered by jlh512- make the request for a king bed your first (and perhaps only) room request. If you don't get a room with a king bed when you checkin, go to the front desk to see if there is a room available with one during your stay.

My husband and I enjoyed Stormalong Bay during our anniversary trip in October 2016. Absolutely no issues being there as adults only.

For the record- there is only one time we felt uncomfortable being there without kids on that trip. We did the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise so we could watch Hallowishes from the water- we were the creepy adults there with no kids listening to the Jake & Neverland Pirates soundtrack surrounded by families.

Great input! Thanks!

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list for December.

Of course!

Sounds great. Which ship/itinerary?

:sail:

Thank you! DH and I will be there 9/17-9/22, and staying at POP from 9/13-9/17. It'll be our first split stay and our first stay at a Deluxe. We're excited!

"I didn't see if anyone replied to your question. I don't really know the answer.

Do you have a Magic Band from a previous trip? It is my understanding that you can use any band that is connected to your MDE account interchangably. So if you are checked into the resort, your package (tickets/dining) would appear in your account and on any Magic Bands you have without having to stop at the resort."

That is my experience too. I have Magic Bands in every color from previous trips that I bring to coordinate to my outfits. No judging people! :)

So excited to be back at Beach Club Villas for another January stay!! We'll be at BCV from Jan. 10-15!

I think that’s exactly what this is intended to do. Renting a car is an extra expense already, so add to that an extra $175 or so to park, well, that wipes out any savings for eating offsite. Might as well stay put. We’re driving for the first time but we’ve already booked our room, so we won’t get hit with the fee this time around.
I guess for us, the thing is that our daughter lives nearby so we rent a car so we can spend a few days with them before and after our Disney stay. Once at Disney, the car stays put and all our money goes to Disney. Not renting a car just isn't an option for us.

Does that sound right, people?

:scratchin

No one did so thank you very much for taking the time too.

No this is our first trip, we're from Australia so our bands can't be mailed out. I have emailed Disney so I will let you know how I go. If not I guess we will just have to arrive that little bit earlier to sort all that before we head to MK.

I know this has probably been asked but how do you get a case of water sent to your room? we are flying in and drink a lot of water.. Is there a grocery store that delivers or can you get it at the marketplace?

Garden Grocer is a popular service that will deliver items to bell services. Last time we used Amazon Prime Now which was perfect because it was only 2 of us so we didn't need to order alot of items. :)

Garden Grocer .. I hate to have to pay 14.00 for deliver of a case of water but I guess that's what it is... :headache::headache: Ok Thanks

I just checked Prime Now, and it's around $5-$6 for a 24 pack of water. They can do cold items too, so way more economical than GG!

Prime Now was great. I had Smart Water, Monsters, snacks and fruit delivered which saved so much $$ over buying from the market downstairs.
