Here's my morning step by step with time stamps


6:15 AM all star movies


Waited 30 min for a bus and gave up. Uber cost $7. 6:48 AM

A few thoughts:
- Was able to ride slinky 3 times before i started feeling woozy. A lot of seats/rows were empty, i could've easily ridden 20+ times.
-Rope drop was let in at 8:50 am.
- I LOVED this event and made sure the CMs knew it. - Just got back to the room, going to rest before the epcot event tonight.
- The all star busses have been a bust so far. I waited 45 minutes for one at HS.
-the walk to the busses is long IMO. I couldn't see myself or a child making that walk in the middle of the day. There weren't any cooling busses at 10 am.

Has anyone gone yet that didn't have the ride entitlements loaded in their MDE? We go next Thursday and so far there is nothing in there. Not super worried, as I have my initial email, but just wondering.

Yes I posted earlier that we were let in at 7:30.

My BF and I were also at the event this morning. Scheduled for the 7 am time slot. We drove from Caribbean Beach, which took like 5 minutes tops. Arrived at the check in about 6:55 and got scanned in. We got photos at the Woody sign and with Buzz on the way in because there was literally no line for either. I think we got on Slinky for the first time around 7:07 with the preloaded entitlement , and we did 5 rides in a row in about a half hour. Each time, there was no wait and we were told to choose any row we wanted. We then used our entitlement for Aliens and back for another Slinky. We took a short break to eat, then photo in front of an alien and met Woody and Jessie. We then did two rides on Toy Story Mania. Went back to Slinky for three more rides before the masses arrived. So for the event, 9 rides on Slinky, 1 on Aliens, and 2 on Toy Story Mania. All of the PhotoPass offerings. BF also got a raspberry tart from Woody’s Lunch Box. We could have done probably two or three more rides if we hadn’t paused for a food break. We then enjoyed 6 trips through Tower of Terror while everyone else was in line for Slinky. This was my first experience with an AP event and we felt it was really good and worth getting up before the crack of dawn to attend. Now it’s time for a break, since we are also doing the event at Epcot tonight.

I am scheduled for next Thursday as well, and don’t have the entitlements yet either. I have my confirmation email and will take that with me.

I'm 9/11 @ 0700 and literally just got the email, haven't even opened it yet, but I'd say there's still hope I'm just glad it's before I leave so I don't have to worry whether it *needs* to be printed, I'll just print it and obviously keep my email on my phone.

ETA: This is the top of the email I got, everything just before it lists my personal info (email, names). on MDE mobile app at THIS point I don't have any entitlements or anything else, aside from the "note" I had created. BUT this email clearly states that I just need the confirmation email and AP/ID etc. not any entitlements. I hope this is helpful!

FYI: Bring your emails to check in. While my entitlements finally showed up sometime after midnight last night, my reservation was not showing up on my MDE or band when trying to check in this morning. However, husband who was my guest on my reservation got in BEFORE me without a problem...scanned magic band, got blue even band, then had to wait while they brought over someone else to figure out what was wrong with mine...on the same reservation for two people, under MY name. Luckily, after not seeing entitlements listed last night, I'd decided to print out and bring ALL the emails (3) The original confirmation, the email asking for pass numbers, and the confirmation/thank you email for doing that "to make things go smoothly". Finally got through that mess and was still entering the park at 6:45am. Other than that, it was a great morning with walk-ons for rides. Plus, got to see the sunrise while riding Slinky. We left just after 8am after having ridden Slinky 6 times (once with only two other people on it, and got to choose our seats) and Toy Story Mania twice (wasn't a fan of Alien from a fast pass ride a few weeks ago) We did get to see it all lit up, so that was a plus. The parking lot is a mess, but lit. The walk from almost the front of the parking area (left of park entrance) had people parking us. The temporary fenced/canvas w/pictures walk take you through the front of the middle parking area (where buses used to stop?) and all the way past the tram stop...hard to get bearings with high walls all around us. We entered over by the Fantasia Mickey/broomsticks topiary right next to the new gondola landing area. I saw a bus stop direction sign with an arrow pointing towards the parking area, but we never heard any, so not sure how far away that is. Oh, and no one was at the booths for driving in, so just passed right through before 7am.

You did a fabulous job with your reporting - very thorough! Puts my thoughts to shame.

You really covered it though - the event was absolutely fabulous. Ended up riding SDDx8, Saucersx2, TSMx1, eating, Photopassx3, and meeting characters.

It was funny/alarming to see the rope drop crowd rushing at me as I left at 8:50.

We are going on Friday, Sept 14th and I'm a little worried about getting there via bus from WL. I was considering a taxi to HS. Does anyone know where the taxi drop off is at HS?

Should be every Tuesday - Saturday for the month of September. Would love to see this extended for any APs who might want to show up past September, though that seems highly unlikely

We are going on Friday, Sept 14th and I'm a little worried about getting there via bus from WL. I was considering a taxi to HS. Does anyone know where the taxi drop off is at HS?

I am curious about this as well. If they drop you off closer than where the new bus stops are it might be more worth it to taxi.

We are also Next Thursday I received my reminder email but no fastpass entitlements at this time either.
