This may be one of the most important posts I’ve read here.
Dan is always trying to educate us commoners over here across the pond. He has a lot of work to do.
But I wonder which would be worse; the total increase to my tax bill, or the six-to seven grand it costs me yearly to carry insurance (not counting the near equivalent amount my employer pays for their half of that insurance)

True. I pay OOP for my children's insurance, but I pay nothing for my own. But, I have to pay $6500 before insurance covers anything. So, there are all these plan names and types, but it's all about profits.
Sadly, USA had two routes back in 1965. Go the way of Canada with their medical coverage or create our own with Medicare. Another political example of where we let the wealthy make even more money off the American taxpayer.
