Hurricane Dorian / WDW Theme Parks Discussion

I am still planning on driving back to Orlando on Wed (have plans for parks on Thursday with a friend). If it moves more inland then I don't think I'd be able to

Anyone still planning on flying in tomorrow (if airports are still open?)
Just an FYI, in the local news in Georgia (out of savannah I believe) they announced that 20% of flights in were cancelled, but I’m not sure exactly where, though. I was only half listening as we were getting ready for the second day of the drive home.

It looks like every forecast model is showing the orlando area getting the worst of it over the course of Wednesday, possibly Tuesday afternoon if it shifts more inland, but definitely Wednesday regardless of what happens, and being clear of the state by Thursday morning regardless of what model or how far it shifts.

Im feeling pretty good about MCO being open saturday.

We changed our plans again and are leaving Orlando on the Monday morning fight. On board right now. The airport is not busy at all. Seems like we could have kept our original Monday afternoon flight but oh well. I am just glad we were able to get some park time in and appear to be getting out without any issues.

We are flying in on Wednesday and have been watching the weather channel with the progression. We still have out flight arriving on time. I dont mind losing one day at the park but am worried we may have to cancel everything.

We are scheduled to arrive via MCO on Thursday afternoon. Still watching. We may also be canceling soon if it doesn't show a decent turn north (far enough off shore). I appreciate reading this thread and seeing others in the same situation. Feeling bad for those directly impacted by Dorian.

well the impacts are evident. Was at MK this morning for EMH from 7am to 10am and taking it at a very slow pace I was able to walk on (no waiting whatsoever) on Peter Pan, IASW, Carousel, Tea Cups, Buzz, Peoplemover, Magic Carpet, meet Tiana and Rapunzel, watch the welcome ceremony from inside the castle, Mickey and Minnie and Snow White. saw the trolley show and could've walked on to 7DMT but I was streaming and I loose stream in there. Walked entire park
I'll be at DHS for EEMH.

Don't be shocked if airports are closed on Wednesday. That's right when close to hurricane force winds are supposed to hit.

We're scheduled to fly in Tuesday morning...but at this point, I am really leaning towards rescheduling to end of September. The uncertainty is too stressful,

We’re at mk right now! There are hardly any people here.

We're heading to MK today, unless the weather suddenly changes. Was able to get 7DMT FP for before the party. We're going to tonight's party.
