Does anyone know if BoA charges a fee if I pull money from the account externally with my primary bank? I still have to close it out from the $300 promo and just scheduled a small transfer to make sure it goes through.
Nope. That's how I move money out. They only charge for outbound transfers initiated from your account. If you're initiating from another bank, no fees.

Was going to say the same. I move money from BoA to Ally by initiating the transfer from Ally. No fees.

We're probably the opposite of most. Unfortunately we do takeout a LOT, so the $60 lump sum credit is nice as opposed to the $10 Amex monthly credit. We don't currently have a CSR but I was thinking of upgrading my CF mid-year.

I'm not even remotely in the boonies and DH and I struggle to use up the Uber and the dining credits. I don't take Uber or Lyft much (almost not at all) and we are trying to eat healthy food and most/all of what we can find with Uber Eats, Grubhub, CCF, etc. is the opposite of that. Plus it's just a pain to have to go through Uber or Grubhub. Honestly I think they make it tough on purpose, and I definitely don't count the full $$ value of those options when considering if I want to keep a card or not.

I find a lot of healthy options in our area, and many of the places I would normally go anyway are available with one or another delivery service. But the prices are usually a $1-2 marked up from the restaurant's menu prices. BTW, DTF is on Doordash. ;)

Phew, thanks! I saw a $3 on some blog and was hoping that was only when initiating through BoA. I didn't want to lose $6. The transfer should clear Monday. Then I am moving the rest and closing it out. I don't even care about the 1099-INT. I know to add $300 🤣

I took an empty paper towel roll home yesterday since DD's teacher sent home a note yesterday that they needed one by today... Was my bonus I suppose. :confused3
Dang, I didn’t get my paper towel roll bonus!
Both of these new CSR benefits that chase is giving are so lame. Most people don’t use these types of ride share or meal delivery services regularly at all. I have about 7 friends and family who’ve gotten the CSR on my recommendation. Pretty sure none use either of these services. I thought it was lame when Amex partnered with Uber and now this is even lamer.
I already struggle to make peace with the $450 AF, especially since we lost timberline as a lounge option. I won’t be paying $100 more.
Agree.
The only delivery we do is the local pizza place. Otherwise, if I’m spending the $ I’d rather eat out and not clean up afterwards. Uber or Lyft is only used on vacation. From airport to hotel and back. We will have some use for that this year as we have 3 trips booked already. At home, I have no use for Lyft, I live in the suburbs.
Capital Bank/Now First Horizon-

No bonus paid by deadline so we called. They said we meet the criteria but we’d have to go to a branch to see why it wasn’t posting. In branch they tell us there is only pne person who can post bonuses and shes on vacation and they don’t know when shes back so just check back later. Super frustrating.
:( exactly why I love/hate bank bonuses. One of my accounts got locked because I didn’t send the woman in charge my DL quick enough. No email or notification.
But 15% off of something I never planned to spend is still 85% more than I need to pay. 🤣

(yeah this doesn’t make much sense but you know what I mean 😂)
Exactly. Spending money to save money doesn’t work for me.
I guess this $60 thing sounds like free food if I can figure it out. 🤣
Let me know if you do.
More reason to push me to lyft on vacation as long as they don't follow suit. 10x.ur, dl and hilton points all earned on each ride. 15% off with the thing is better than the 10% lyft normally offers me as promo. I'm sold!
I need to figure this out with all the points. I tried linking Hilton and Lyft and not sure it worked.
Yum.
Agree! We are so over the cost of TS meals at Disney. This actually looks reasonably priced. I love BBQ and I really love banana pudding :lovestruc I don't typically get desserts at Disney cause of cost and everything is so overly sweet to me but I gotta try the banana pudding!!
I find BBQ is always expensive. This seems in line with real world prices which is a bit unusual for Disney.
Definitely. More Muppets. All the Muppets. But mostly Sam Eagle. :rotfl:
Who?
Agreed! The fries are cold by the time you get home. Fries were meant to be eaten hot!
One reason I rarely order delivery and definitely not fries. I don’t even like them after drive thru. Even if I go straight home, they are cold.
Ha, I am twice your age and have no idea who Sam Eagle is.
Same.

Most of the time, our food is cold by the time it arrives. I've contacted Uber a few times and gotten a credit. We also are missing items frequently. Like my veggie bowl from qdoba has no veggies or I didn't the guac I requested. It gets annoying!

Yep, this is why DH says it's not worth the effort. We ordered from a place we love, and the bread was missing. Restaurant says they included it. I'm pretty sure they did. I don't want an Uber driver messing with my food, and I'd like it hot, too. :rolleyes1

We're trying really hard to not eat out much. I just do so much better that way. When DD was small and I was running around all the time we did get a lot of take out and it definitely wasn't good for me or DH. Now that it's just 2 of us it's pretty easy to make healthy meals. Having said that, I'd love some good suggestions! And I will mention DTF to DH who loves their food and hates to go to VF. The issue with DTF is that it isn't super close, and cold dumplings (and even worse, cold molten chocolate dumplings) would make me sad.

Dang, I didn’t get my paper towel roll bonus!

It was pretty easy, just wait until someone uses the last paper towel, 10:1 odds is they will leave the tube behind right where they found it not knowing the value of it. Timing then is key, just need to make sure you swing by right after so someone else does not get there first. Then after you have scored big time reach up and grab the next roll and replace the swiped one, the next person will be none the wiser.

This will be super hard. We have automatic paper towel dispensers that are locked. Or the kind that dispense folded paper towels. :scared:

This is probably a dumb question but how do you pay an annual fee? Do you have to pay before it or is it on your statement?

If your fries make it home you are doing it wrong. Fries always get eaten while driving. Bonus points if they are still hot enough to burn your mouth.
True but if I allow the bag to be opened, DS would be climbing over the seat to get to them too.

It will be on your statement. It just gets paid with your regular monthly payment.
