Besties, Booze and Brrr!!! With Jen and Joe on the Go 5/8 January Wrap Up and new TR LInk! COMPLETE

I love the look of the tea experience and could definitely see myself and my daughter doing that. My kids treated me to afternoon tea here a few times for birthdays or Mother’s Day and I love it! Always end up with a box of goodies to bring home for the boys as we can never finish all the treats. Your experience looks like the perfect amount and what a great price! I’ve never tasted iced tea though so that would be new to me 😊
Moira, the tea was fantastic and for $35 you can’t go wrong.😊

True! Definitely worth doing :thumbsup2
All caught up with your vlogs- think I enjoy the craic between you and Joe as much as the actual info I get from the vlog lol. The info is always good too of course :goodvibes
I’d totally forgotten about Snow Whites scary adventures until you mentioned it. Loved that ride. We used to sing “ heigh ho, heigh ho it’s off to work we go. We work all day and we get no pay heigh ho, heigh ho”. Imagine my surprise when I watched the movie as an adult and discovered the no pay bit was a local ad lib and not actually part of the song😂

Once we got to POFQ and got settled, we freshened up a bit, changed our clothes and walked down the stairs to the boat docks (this was very convenient). We had a river view room and it was so peaceful.
The river view rooms would be my favorite, too.
We went to Disney Springs twice when we were at POR. The boats are much nicer than the buses. :)
Wine Bar George looks really nice. I am intrigued by the grilled romaine, but not enough to try it.
We had dinner in Disney Springs the night before you were there and the weather was really nice. Disney Springs looks more magical when it is dark out and we had fun looking in all the store windows. :)

We had reservations for the Twining Tea Experience at Rose and Crown.
That looks like it would be fun. :)
BUT, my fav is at the Drake Hotel. It's fabulous!!!!
We had tea once at the Drake and fabulous is the right word for it. It has been a long time, though, since we were there.
I wasn't thrilled about the caramel rooibos but it turned out to be my fav hot tea ever. We even bought a box to bring home and I'm sad to say it's almost gone. Thank goodness we're going back in 4 weeks!!!
I have seen that caramel tea in the BC club lounge. It looks delicious.

We will be there March 1st to 6th, so we will just miss you, again. ;)

I agree with everything you said. LOL!

That looks like it would be fun. :)
It was wonderful and I would love to do it again.

We did it 10 months ago and I'd love to do it again!!!

The caramel tea was soooo good!
I can't believe we are missing you again!!!! We will also be there the 6-7 to attend the Villains After Hours.

I want to try Wine Bar George sometime! It sounds good! Maybe not with the girls, although they would like the mac and cheese balls...

And the tea expierence sounds delightful!

Hi everyone. Join Joe and me for an evening in Disney Springs. We share some cocktails and small plates at Wine Bar George after a relaxing boat ride from Port Orleans French Quarter. We spend some time in Uniqlo and have dessert at Amorettes. This was a great way to kick off our first night in Disney World. Oh, and the Disney Drinkers make an appearance. Yay! :cool1: :cool1:

Our Afternoon in Epcot...

After our lovely Tea Experience at Rose and Crown, it was time for Joe and me to use up our fast passes and spend some time posing in some of the festival picture frames. The Festival of the Arts hadn't quite started yet (we had a day to go), but guests were able to take pictures in the "live art" set up around the park. We did that and rode FEA, Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land (in no particular order). I even got that foot photo from LWTL that I feel should be mandatory just like on the People Mover...Of course, it can only be taken if you sit in the front of the boat... :rotfl2:

Then, we got hungry again so we made a very special stop at the Mexico Pavillion at La Cava. Joe and I have only ordered drinks to go here but thought it would be fun to actually sit inside, enjoy some alcoholic beverages (yep, I'm talking margaritas) and some yummy queso dip and chips. Joe had The Black Magic Margarita developed by Neil Patrick Harris with a mixture of Mezcal, blackberry puree, Cassis liqueur, lime, and mint; served frozen. This was soooooo good. I got my old standby, La Cava Avocado Margarita with Tequila Terremoto Blanco, melon liqueur, fresh avocado, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice, served frozen with a hibiscus salt rim. Again, this didn't disappoint. We also shared the Queso con Jalapeno, warm white cheese dip with jalapenos, served with tortilla chips. For $10 this was a Disney food steal and so good it took everything in me not to lick the bowl clean. Hey, I have some manners...LOL!

We took a few more pics and then it was time to head out of the park. Joe and I wanted to rest a little back in the room because we had BIG evening plans in Animal Kingdom!!!
