@osufeth24--You've probably already posted this but for those of us who weren't paying attention, what kind of phone do you have and who's your carrier? If you would care to share your superpowerishness!

Those of you trying with multiple phones, is everyone logged into the same account? For example, I am the manager of all the FP, dining reservations, etc. Do my DH and kids need to be logged in as me or should they create their own account? Currently, I am the only one in the family who even uses the app.

It is easiest to have them all log in as you vs creating individual accounts/logins for everyone, in my opinion.

Ok I have a question about practicing from home. I tried for the first time today. I hit join boarding group then hit “select all” to add all 4 to the party. The next screen says “not so fast@ and that we all must be in the park. Is that as far as you can get when practicing from home? We’re headed down in a couple of weeks and only have one day to get it right.

Practiced from home yesterday and found that only myself and my son were listed on MDE. (hubby and DD's were missing) This is the first time this has happened to me. I clicked into the app a bit early, and waited 3 seconds to tap "find out more". Usually, I've been waiting to open app right before 8:00. Don't know if this factored into family not showing up. Went ahead and selected "all" then proceeded to "not so fast" prompt. If in the park, could this be remedied with GET member? Could they add the rest of my fam to BG?

Yes, you had a successful practice run. If you had been in the park that screen would've given you your bg number

Pretty much a “yes” to all your questions. Sometimes all people linked to your MDE account won’t appear when trying for a BG. Don’t stop your process; get a BG for those that appear. Then you can try to get a BG for the rest and hopefully get a BG number close to the previous. Should This not happen or if they never appear, a GET can add them to your BG. Biggest rookie mistake people make is stopping the process when everyone is not listed, restarting the app again and again and getting a very high backup BG or none at all.

They actually called 97 at 5:30, so they stopped calling them 3 hours before close.

Maybe if I update The Chart they'll call more groups.

- 96 total Boarding Groups were called - 51 Regular and 45 Backups - so two days of below average results (did the 'good' engineers go back out west after MMRR opening week?... J/k)
- Unfortunately park opening whipsawed to an uncomfortably fast 2 minutes for all BGs to fill

How successful have people been when using an iphone 6? Both DH and I have a 6 and I've been practicing every morning. Of course, getting on at home is different than actually being in the park. DS and DDIL both have iphone 10 and 11. It does take me a little longer to get my page to load, but I seem to be able to get into the boarding passes fairly well. Of course, I can't get past the page where it asks to remove people not in the park, so I have no idea if I will get an error message or not.

My family is here at Disney now. Thanks to this thread we have rode RotR twice.

1st time was last Thurs. We waited in line for RnRC and had no problem getting BG 4.

2nd time was today. Waited in TSL line at park opening. "Join boarding group" did not light up on either the first page nor the "my status" page for any of us. Closed app and restarted, and got BG 38. Thought that would be interesting to those here ... even with a restart on a very busy day, we still got a good number.

Our method: Closed all open windows and restart phones after entering park. Open app several minutes before 8:00. Used an atomic clock app to watch time. 5 seconds before 8:00, switch to MDE app and count down in my head. Then count an additional 3 seconds. Hit "Find out More." There were 3 of us. Galaxy S9+ got the BG the 1st day. iPhone 6 got the BG today. Verizon phone plans.

We are not huge Star Wars fans and really enjoyed the experience. It was even better the 2nd time as I understood more!

Heading back down the weekend of March 27th. I've been on Rise a few times (including being there for opening day!) but she hasn't yet. We're staying at AOA and from what I've heard, it's maybe not the best idea to take the Skyliner? It seems like you get in the park with less than 10 minutes to spare which is reeeeeeeeeeeally cutting it close (we're also only there for 2 days). Is the suggested mode of transport still a lyft if you're coming from a skyliner resort?

We were just at the riviera- one morning we took the sky liner bc we weren’t trying to rope drop anything. Got on the skyliner right at 730 and it was super fast smooth ride. In the park by 747. But again, we were not trying to rope drop anything. We were just there to get a BG.

i LOVE the skyliner. (And this is coming from someone who thought she not make it off one) If you are only trying to get a BG I think it’s ok to use

First of all, thanks for all the hints from everyone on this board. Today was our chance for a boarding group and I managed to get group number 5! We were sooo excited! Our group got called at 8:15. I’m not sure what time we got off the ride though. Now to the details: Three of us in the park 2 iPhone 7s, one iPhone 8 and someone in Michigan on an iphone 11. All of us on AT&T. Three in the park on data. I launched app at about 4 seconds before 8am on one of the 7’s and got group 5. Other iPhone 7 opened app too soon and had to start again. iPhone 8 screen didn’t load fast enough. Not sure what happened with my off site helper-he said by the time he got to the page it stated we already had a group. All of us were logged into the same account with only the names of the people on the trip on the list. We enjoyed the ride very much and wished we could go again, but we leave tomorrow.
