The Good News Is......

The good news is ... now I have a perfectly good excuse to stay at home and avoid other people. Feels good for this introvert.

My 17 year old son isn't a fan of being around people, and often turns friends down if they want to do something. He just wants to be home all the time. I told him I was going to get him a shirt that says, "I can't. I'm social distancing." Telling him he has to go out and about with friends feels like a punishment to him!

So jealous! Teen is home from school, hubs is home from work (school teacher)... But I'm still going into the office each day. I'm typically are least 6 feet away from my office mates, so I understand that it's "fine"/safe, but gosh, the cleaning and organizing I could do at home if given a few days to do it!

Oh NO! Darn you Coronavirus!!! No seriously, safety first.

Hope you're enjoying it. When it first came out I though 'meh', but one evening I was in a goth/fantacy/romance mood so thought I'd try and was hooked right away.
I am indeed! DW doesn’t like it at all, though (‘too dark’) so I tend to watch it after she’s dozed off... 🤫

The good news is.... All those people that like to steal other peoples packages off their porch are out of business cause everyone is home!
Except that more people are ordering stuff now since non-essential stores are closed around here. My brother told me his neighbor a few doors down just had a shipment of dog food stolen.

I'll have the last laugh though ... I ordered underwear recently and it would serve the porch pirates right if they steal my XL granny underwear. :teeth:

The good news is...

we survived day #1 of home schooling.
DH & I were both able to telecommute today and not kill each other.
our fat cat has discovered he loves YDD's lap.
I'm finally done digging the hole for our future lemon tree.
I'm going to have plenty of time to dig holes this weekend for some more trees & large bushes to block the view of our nosy next door neighbor who admits to spying into our backyard.
I have 3-4 backup plans for when we'll go back to Disneyland.

I think you mean the vast majority are not sick yet. Before this is over, only a slim majority of us will not be sick, and that's if we are lucky. Tens of thousands of people who are not sick today will be dead in a month. Enjoy your health while you have it!
There‘s always an Eeyore in every thread.....
