I have 3 days in October (5, 6, 7) and then the first week in November. I also have Halloween night booked but may let it go.
I wish we could go in fall. Just feel like middle school will be stressful enough for DS, pulling him out of school would make it worse.

I would love to hear about this. I have done research (and DNA) on Ancestry.com. Able to go back 7 generations on my mom’s side, much less on dad’s. Not able to trace anything before US.

My son would agree Khan is boring, he tries to just do everything without watching the videos. His teacher did give them some assignments yesterday though, so he’s plugging away.

You should be able to ask now what the policy is.

I’ve got enough TP and paper towel, dishwasher detergent is running low. Can’t find kleenex anywhere.
As of right now they won’t separate the baby from me unless I’m showing symptoms of the virus

I need to vent for one sec. Working from home doesn't mean your work can get more sloppy! Slow down and stop making my job harder. This was an issue prior to the work from home and she acknowledged she needed to slow down so...

What country? My mom and I split ancestry international but I haven't been on it yet. Really she does most of it even for my dad's side. She's got to do some in norway for her side which is hard because it's church records and they aren't online yet.

We were just able to confirm my grandma's line in the US back to the revolutionary war via the death certs I mentioned before and then some baptism records she was able to find on ancestry. Now our problem is I don't think the person we found in the war records is my jacob staley but the one that's older and already confirmed by the dar and he's the only one. Mine is much younger but would have been around 16 in 1776.

She's started working on my grandma's father's side since we haven't paid much attention to it. My great aunt did my surnames side long ago so I just input it all.

Some poor woman just won a Princess cruise on Wheel of fortune. I wonder how long ago it was taped.

I was very surprised only one Jeopardy contestant got the final right, but then I asked DH and he didn't know it either. Category American Poets - This New York woman died in 1887, the year after the subject of her most famous poem was unveiled. Seemed obvious to me! Good night!

What is a horrible way to say good night?

I’m planning to make another reservation at the end of this week when the booking window opens for the end of February. I also booked 4 days mid February for my daughter with points from our cancelled trip this month. I had extra points so I figured might as well let her use some.

Tomorrow’s a big day at our house as DS starts virtual learning/school/whatever you want to all it. His teachers will be using and he’ll need to get out of his PJs and ready by 9 am for Spanish. T and Th his classes won’t start until 11 am. We’ll see how it goes. Wish me luck and not too many new gray hairs since I can’t see my stylist.

Well, I have Irish, English, German, Mexican, Native Central American... anything before emigrating to the US is difficult. I have records of border crossings between US and Mexico for my great grandparents and grandmother. Anything else is in Spanish which I don’t speak. Same for German records. Never found anything English or Irish either, although Irish is the largest percentage of my mom's DNA. I have my mom’s family to about 1800, but it’s sketchy before that. I have a couple questionable links that show someone born in 1795, but his daughter born 1805, so I think it’s also the wrong person. I did find a previously unknown branch which was confirmed with DNA testing, so that was a surprise.

It's hard when you have to start using church records because they aren't all up. Though I did find out that's part of what the mission trip the Mormon's go on (and if I bungle this I'm sorry it was awhile ago I learned about it). They go to places, like churches, not just their own, and write down records to add to their huge database. It's part of why things may differ because you may get 2 or more people writing the same record and interpreting the writing/spelling differently. It's also why they are so known for their genealogy stuff. They also have small libraries all over, we have a couple near us, and anyone can go in and use their computers and stuff. I think you can request stuff from SLC too but I can't remember exactly.

Also, google translate has helped my mom and once you get an idea of what certain words are and what order they put things if you are looking at forms and stuff you can figure out what it is. It can get tedious though.

I would say apply before the end of the March (based on SFF's history, above). There should be several valid links using the original bonus language. I know I just put one there, when I read about the changes.
Apply the day after you drop under 5/24. :scratchin

This probably is the best plan. I had planned on April because I'm not sure if 5/24 is measured to the day or to the month.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/24/asia/india-lockdown-coronavirus-intl/index.html
India has ordered a "complete" lockdown for a minimum of 21 days, effective midnight local time tonight.

This is very likely to impact a lot of call centers and customer support operations, including ones used by many banks and airlines. Anecdotally, we've already been seeing Chase SM response time slip from the usual within a day to 2-3 days.
Also Cap 1 is working from home and much slower to get hold of. Give yourself extra time if you need to call Cap1 for anything.

There’s a big petition about allowing partners in for labor and delivery during this time. I’m not going to post the link but it’s easy enough to find by doing a google search if anyone is interested in signing it. I’m not sure how much good it will do but my doctor was actually the one that mentioned it at my appointment this morning. I can’t imagine being in the room by myself with the anxiety I have that causes me to faint/get light headed.
While I hope so much you aren’t alone I know no matter what you will handle this. You have been in command of all this, watching what you’re eating, prepping for months for supplies (I remember you snapping up Black Friday deals!!), researching his formula before the little fella even arrives... @Haley R you will be a Boss Mom and if that has to start when he starts to enter this world YOU HAVE FREAKIN’ GOT THIS.

Thank you! I’m hoping everything goes as planned. It’s so sad and emotional to think I might be laying in a room alone and for Dh to miss the birth of his first child.

My Costco was pretty empty people wise, but I didn't go until early afternoon and I was back home by 3ish. It was not crowded and people for the most part were keeping space while shopping. I was waiting for a lady to move away from something and when she did move on, someone swooped in from nowhere. Oh well, I didn't mind waiting another few minutes. I have to read newer stuff before buying for allergies.

They had put a plexi glass shield around the cashiers - I thought that was good. I got most of what I wanted but did note the chicken fridges were empty. Lots of salmon, halibut, cod, tilapia, sea bass, crab legs, but I bought frozen fish as it is already freezer ready and in portions - works best for me doing one portion at a time. We already had lots of chicken from my visit before going to HHead. So I bought hamburger and pot roast that I'll cut into stew meat as they didn't have that prepared.

My cart got very heavy fast, as I got litter, cat food, bird seed and over $400 worth of stuff. I guess I needed the flat cart. Some of the things that I needed will last up to 6 months, but I would run out in the next 2-3 weeks, so just got it all now. Detergent, dish pods - that kind of thing. Shampoo and conditioner - $30. Adds up fast. Plus they had a few things on sale that I would normally stock up on like the madras lentils - I like those on rice and at $4 off a box, I needed a couple. I also did more frozen veggies and a few other staples that will not expire before we use them, plus I found a new item to try - a cauliflower rice mixture with some veggies in it - 4 12oz packs for 8.99. Hope we like it!

Checkout was a breeze as they did one line and you had to stay 6 feet apart. I had 2 people in front of me and was directed to a checkout very quickly and every second checkout was open. I put a couple of things on the conveyor but the employee with gloves on loaded most stuff and quickly. Insert card and pay. Leaving the store my favorite guy was checking carts - he just glanced at my receipt and made small talk plus offered to get me loading help as I had a lot of stuff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful! I did my own loading as I wanted to separate stuff the way I would take it in my home. Such as litter is still in the van until I need it. It's like a storage closet for a few things like that.

Churning - used my 2% Navy Fed Flagship for $8.44 in cash rewards. Daughter will share the cost of this trip as well.
“Insert card”... does your Costco not do tap and pay? Tap and pay is even faster!

We are allowing spouses in labor and delivery at this time. No other visitors.
