Sorry... nothing here... but based on everything I have just looked at in various DIS threads, Disney related FB pages, and other “discussion” type areas where all are free to post “anonymously”, I have found that this word is most likely to result it crazy, blow by blow, nonsensical, angry, and outrageously ridiculous stuff. Lol... so here it is... have at it popcorn:::stir::badpc::crutches::rolleyes1

ok... maybe not on this here board...
😁

@tiggerdad absolutely on the hide facial expressions. I was glad i was wearing one when my mom said how much she wanted to list the condo for. I was like are you kidding!!

That being said i can't remember if i mentioned the condo is sold, closed, and i got the last power bill so all the condo stuff is done. next is appointment with the finance person so i can get that money for my folks some place better than a savings account.

Here in Vt. Certain cities and towns require you to wear a mask in the stores. Some of our convenience stores want you to scan your own items, they don’t want to touch them, but they will snatch cash out of your hand like it just came of the printing press.

This mask requirement is going to be a huge part of our decision to keep or cancel our Jan/Feb 2021 site. No way I am paying for a premium site if everything isnt back to full speed.

I understand holding out hope for best and waiting until you HAVE to make the decision (I would wait until I HAD to also), but my honest opinion is it won’t even be close to starting to get back to normal by then... but, as I said, I would be holding out on decision too... need to have hope...

I wear masks to keep self righteous lunatics from attacking me. Earning a medical degree taught me the reality of epidemiology, virology, airborne infectious diseases and the efficacy of various masks.
It also taught me about how hard it is to keep mentally unstable people locked up.

Sadly, I agree. We postponed our August trip to Universal to April of next year. We hope that things will be in control enough for us to go, but we expect we will need to wear masks. We are supposed to hit the Fort in July, and have hopes that things will be less strict by then, but only time will tell. We are operating the church with multiple services, pre-registered attendance, distancing, masks, etc. As of now, we are operating under the assumption that this will be our norm through the entirety of the next school year.

working as a contractor specializing in Frac sand mining/processing, I've been wearing a respirator for 30+ years(retired), a mask or even a N95 is a piece of cake for me

@Team Bradford,

I have to agree. I've worked for Perioperative Services (ORs) for the past 15 years and ICU/Trauma prior to that. Wearing a mask is second nature, but I can understand people's hesitation. It does take a little getting used to, but after a short time, (if everyone would give it a chance) you tend to forget they are on.

Now, I was only outside at Disney Springs with mask for a few hours overall on n3 separate days (and it was hot!)… can't say what an entire day would be like, but was manageable (for me/us) for that period of time. I think with meal breaks, and I thought they were maybe going to set up some sort of "mask break" areas, I could manage the parks. Having said that, I am SO glad was not doing Disney World vacation this year... all the other hassles/changes aside from the masks would have been a bigger turn off... is what it is, of course, but I 'll wait and see what goes on over next year or so...

Ok , im at Hershey park now, and i have the masks i lined to above. And its hot and humid. Its not fun. I will cut the masks in half next park day to take the cloth off the neck. In the am, everyone is waring the masks proper. In the afternoon, people have them around there necks. Its too hot sweaty to ware them constently. And no places i can see to take them off for a bit. They did say they would have those areas , but i cant find them. In fact i cant find much, as they have 0 maps to give out. So , everyhthing is digital. Ill post a review when i get home monday, but its basicly a mess. Hurriedly planned out, but no real thought into stuff. Some rides better then others, but most rides aren't even operating looms to be lack of people or tranning to run them. Cleaning is good on some rides, abysmal on others. I would wait to see what and how Disney responds. Because if its anything like this , i would stay home!

It will be hard to tell until they are up and running in the coming weeks. That said, I have been pretty impressed with what I've seen in coverage from the Passholder Previews the last couple of days!
