AP holders from NY, NJ, Conn

Except I'm concerned that even if the state of Florida won't enforce it, that Disney will take one look at my billing address and lock me in my DVC room for my entire stay, or cancel all my park reservations.

This is my fear too. I am not sure if they will or how they will enforce it but waiting to find out until I drive all the way down from NY is not something I want to do.

That would be my luck. Our son has a trip planned to Universal next month and he is calling them to see what they say. This whole thing is stupid just make the Governor look like he is doing this because the tri-state is quarantining Florida residents.

So many states are now allowing travel based on case rate.....this is silly. I'll be waiting for that travel site to update as well to see if there is amendment. The new order DOES NOT specifically mention the quarantine. Speculation is because EO-20-139 and its priors expired with EO-52.

We'll see if that gets updated.....

Son just called Universal and they told him he would have no problem. Does anyone know if you fly into Orlando from CT are they still questioning you as you get off the plane

Keep us posted

No no... he must think he’s helping us up here. Now we don’t need to self quarantine when we get home, can keep going to work, restaurants, helping local businesses and the local economy. Thanks DeSantis!

LOL! It's very true though. I know a number of tri-state families who canceled their summer FL trips and are now vacationing in the New England and mid-Atlantic states. If FL doesn't want us, ok. The resort we are going to in PA was very happy to take our reservation! I am not happy about the AP situation, however.

We flew from Newark to Orlando in early June. We were given paperwork to fill out on the plane asking where we were going, when we were returning, names, date of birth, phone number and address of everyone in our family.

When we got off the plane, they collected the forms at the gate. I assume the same will continue.

I just called Universal and they were able to essentially freeze (deactivate) my 2 park Preferred AP and will give the 3 months on the pass i missed due to the travel restrictions June-September. I need to call before my next visit to activate it and once i do the additional 3 months will go into effect. I couldn't believe it when they gave me this option after the circles I've been running around with Disney about my Platinum AP. I am from NJ and quarantining 28 days is not even a reasonable option.

The real ultimate question is what Disney is going to do. I wouldn't want to go and not be allowed to check in upon arrival when everything is already accepted.

They aren't. Airports stopped that on June 30.

My concern is more Disney. Am I not going to be able to check in?

That executive order was filed at 10:08 AM this morning....floridahealthcovid19.gov was updated at 10:34 AM. I'm thinking its official but will wait for the next update before I cancel everything...

You must sign a form on the plane that you have read the quarantine rules, to indicate where you are quarantining, purpose of trip, your phone number and address of where you will be staying. The form says subject to penalty and or jail time.

Does anyone know if you fly out of Boston but live in CT do you need to fill out the quarantine paperwork

Or if you fly out of Philly to Orlando. Here is the thing- what if you live in NJ, vacationed two weeks in PA, or stayed with friends In Philly and went to Orlando. How would they even remotely track these things. You are from NJ- but have many been in NJ for two weeks, not traveling out of a NJ airport. They can’t hold you hostage because of your address. Now your job could absolutely mandate you quarantine if you were to come back to NJ if they knew you went to Florida. That I believe.

This is what I am wondering as well. Especially if you drive. How do they know where you were the last 2 weeks?

Completely agree but here lies the issue now Pennsylvania specifically Philadelphia airport is tracking all flights in from Florida and the other hotspot States and making you fill out a form so you're hit coming back as well
