NBA has a chance if they players maintain the bubble. MLB & NFL without a bubble don't have great odds.

BaseBall will be the hardest, they ina hotel for 3 nights, in a dofferent city all season. Football is going to only be ina hotel one night, and get there late, demanding there own entress, and they are not allowed to walk thru hotel. Base Ball Union is to strong for them to have any restrictions on the players

The few sports that actually have them will count provided they have some semblance of a season and don't completely bail and have some short tournament or something. I suspect they will be overshadowed by the Pandemic and not really remembered very long.

If MLB doesn't complete the season, declaring the team with the best record champions would be as legitimate as last year's WS champs.

I don't think traveling will be the problem for MLB. They'll have much better control over the coaches & players on the road. They've been told they can't leave the hotel to tour the cities. If they really wanted to make this work, the teams should be staying in hotels for home games also. It will be impossible to restrict the players & their families movements for home games. They're depending on an honor system & we all know how that goes. As you said, the players union will be responsible, if MLB fails this season.

two days ago they reported zero cases amongst all players and people in the bubble. They are locked up tight.

The NHL bubble is being strictly maintained. There are zero cases in the bubble right now. Granted, players could break the bubble and then have cases, but I honestly don’t see it happening. Hopefully I won’t have to come back and eat these words.

championships yes. statistics, no. if a player bats over .400 or sets the record in batting average or era over a 60 game season, that definitely deserves an asterick.
